Why do people keep comparing it lol? It's pretty much the exact same formula/type of game. I respectfully disagree with your comparison saying casuals can't figure it out. I've played sonic on Xbox 360 (as a drinking game) and plenty of casuals picked it up immediately.
You make it sound like its gran turismo or forza lol.
The world will still be empty. They are making the right call on this. If you're that worried then wait a month to decide to buy or not.
It's a beta lol. This is literally the stuff they want discovered.
I'm on Xbox one and the PlayStation deal for a year really sucked but at least it was just a couple of guns / strikes. 30 days is reasonable (if the deal MUST go down...)
Agreed. I love that everyone has access to the new maps and it's not a split community.
All of the patch notes are on the Division Reddit. It's absolutely worth playing again even if you were in the closed beta.
There will be a new wing in your base of operations available, which correlates to a new story mission and thus new enemies we haven't encountered yet. New high level weapons available in the dark zone and TONS of fixes that were discovered in the closed beta.
The developers are really on it. I recommend going to the division Reddit and reading all the patch notes if you really want to know everything.
It's really not that scary of a thing. You only lose what's in your "contaminated bag" and you don't lose anything you have equipped or in your backpack.
I'm glad massive had the balls to implement it. Yeah it will suck sometime in the future when I know I'll lose something good/rare. But if I'm quick I might be able to respawn and get that person back. Not to mention my teammates can guard my gear for me (did this numerous times in the beta...
I don't really understand the issue with online only in today's world, but I keep hearing it come up as a deal breaker (for some people, not you since you said you like it). Can you elaborate on why you hated it was online only?
I never unplug my system from my router and my internet is always on...and how often does your internet really go down?
Got my code and downloading now. So they are definitely sending em out.
I get that it can be considered repetitive, but how can you say it's any more repetitive than call of duty or halo or uncharted? In my opinion, it has a much larger variety of content with strikes, raids, daily missions, and then all of the PvP variety (including timed events).
I dunno, just seems like everyone thinks it's really cool to hate destiny. It was an ambitious first step by bungie, yeah it's far from perfect, but I've never logged so many hours in ...
Agreed, people should just wait until the beta drops to flip out. I understand being hesitant but the media wants you to flip out so you click their articles. It's the same thing with the news of the country and world.
I just read that the beta will support preloading 48 hours before the beta goes live. So we should be getting codes soon I'd think...
I haven't yet...I was worried because I had an old email in my uplay account. But it's up to date now but so far nothing...
I'm with you. I'm so happy I have a powerful super after having to put up with golden gun and blade dancer haha
I don't really understand all the hate associated with an "always online" game. My console is never disconnected from the Internet. I guess one could argue that the games servers / console servers can go down but how often does that really happen?
Is everyone also upset their console of choice didn't come with a floppy drive? I think it's time to move forward...
There's a lot of people who aren't comfortable determining what hard drive is compatible, buying it, and then setting it up. I agree it's simple but there are more people in the world than the power users that visit this website :)
The more options the better IMO.
Really pleased with the house of wolves. The storyline for this DLC was actually pretty cool, IMO.
Well, correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't halo 2 one of the first games to have the health pack less first person shooter (recharging health)? Did call of duty have that before halo?
I feel like the recharging health is what really has defined FPS since halo 2. As well as halo 2's match making style, which has bled into a lot of console games.
Amazing game. The story telling is awesome, the tv show episode format is really cool.
