So brave and virtuous!
Actually, devs confirmed no downgrade:

You’re not kidding. Just saw some of his tweets.
Yeah, just went and looked at some of his tweets. Can’t believe this guy is still employed.
Except on including a 4K blu-ray drive!
Shhhh! You're destroying the narrative!
Of course. There's no rush - I plan on really enjoying my first playthrough and just leveling up naturally. If I'm raid ready that first week it's available I'll give it a shot. If not, oh well. Always the next week!
But will you get it on launch day?
Love this question.
I'd rather the developers fine tune their software to run the best it can on my hardware rather than the opposite (me having to optimize my hardware for their software). I'm lazy. I also don't wanna be tempted to upgrading this and that every year or every other year. I just want to plug in a box to my TV and not think about it but I still want excellent performance and I don't want to spend $1000 (edit: just saw the other front page ar...
No, they aren't. I believe Trials and Iron Banner will stop in August but you'll still be able to everything else the game has to offer.
I guess I don't understand this argument when PC gamers have all been running different fps and resolutions for decades while playing PvP games. Can anyone explain why this current console situation is different?
I'm really enjoying the game! 55 hours in.
What will be interesting is to see if everyone on this website cares about native resolutions as much as they did at the start of this gen!
I'm OK with that, but as long as it's a beast. I'm prepared to drop $400 - $600 on it but hoping for the lower end of that haha.
I wonder if resolutions will still matter once Scorpio drops (like they did at the start of this gen)?
Yeah. It's nice to see a little on what the story is but we need real gameplay that's representative of what will be shipping in March! Hopefully next month!
Yeah it's basic economics (as much as that sucks). You're paying for the convenience of getting the product immediately without having to get off the couch. Same reason on demand rentals are more than Redbox.
Probably some corporate greed sprinkled in there too :P
Unless some developers give you the choice of 4K/30fps and 1080P/60fps. I guess we just have to wait a year for Scorpio, ugh
Isn't this a description for last year's event? I don't think they announced this year's details yet.
EDIT: nvm, my bad! The taken king comment and same map from last year threw me off! Looking forward to this event!
I mean, it’s nearly identical to the first one. What did the first one have that 3 doesn’t?
