Halo 6 could launch fall 2017 so maybe this fall we will get a teaser or something!

Hopefully it's like halo 5 with plenty of ways to earn everything for free but micro transactions for those that are willing to pony up the bucks and essentially pay for the free maps that everyone gets to enjoy :)

On topic: it's probably just a shorter game. The price tag has already made me more interested in the game as I probably would have passed at $60. We'll see how the reviews are but it looks fun from what I've seen so far.

Agreed! Multiplayer and warzone are near perfect. Just need an amazing story for 6 to round off the trilogy.

If Microsoft waited to announce it at next years E3, then everyone would be pissed that they bought an Xbox One S a year earlier when they would have liked the knowledge of a newer console coming just a year later. Half the people on here would attack and criticize that decision my Microsoft.

Technically, it will be 4 years when the Scorpio launches. I think we are just used to the really long cycle we had with PS3 and 360.

I wish the game of the year edition with the undead DLC was included at that price!

Agreed. I'm not a PC gamer and I don't plan on buying a high end one to game with. I only want a console and I'm sure many others feel the same.

I barely even use my regular laptop much considering it's just quicker to use my iPad or iPhone. So getting a spec'd out one for gaming just isn't realistic. It will be interesting to see how this new strategy plays out!

Ju, also keep in mind it takes time to secure suppliers and parts / make an entire supply chain. You have to create the process the console is made and procedures for how workers manufacture it. There is a lot to it.
