Completely agree. I keep coming back to the PvP (and warzone!). It just feels really balanced and almost every game I play is super competitive and exciting.
They should do what halo 5 did and not fragment the community - make all new maps free. If they do that I'm ok with microtransactions to generate revenue. Halo 5 has a perfect model IMO.
That's tomorrow lol. Yeah it sucks they've been gone for a few days but you still get Phoenix credits for running challenge mode (non-daily), even though it's less (& can run it as many times as you want actually).
No big deal, massive is doing great with support.
Accidentally disagreed but meant to agree!
@Edmix
Great points! Agree completely. People have been so delusional lately with the amount of content.
I mean, every game is repetitive to an extent. Can you give me an example of a game that isn't? Not calling you out specifically, it just seems to be a hot topic with the division / destiny recently.
Everything from super Mario brothers to uncharted to call of duty is repetitive in some way. I shouldn't expect a game to suddenly change genres half way through or go from 1st to 3rd person right?
Sorry you didn't like it. One of the most memorable single player games for me. I loved the story telling technique (episodes). I really hope we get a full sequel in the next few years.
I think Ubi can solve this easily and follow Bethesda's example. Don't show anything until it's all final...6 months before release or whatever. That will stop everyone complaining because well they don't know what they don't know ;)
Hopefully people don't complain then that it takes so long to show anything :P
I think bland could also be used to describe how "alive" the world feels. Yes, destiny is colorful. I thought Venus was awesome looking with its colors. But the division feels alive. There are a lot of NPC's doing stuff from civilians to emeny factions. It's also crazy to accidentally stumble upon a big NPC fight in the dark zone.
Massive did a great job!
Massive reads the division Reddit and even posts in it. They hear our feedback. If you have constructive feedback, I recommend posting there!
I love the game as well. Massive did a great job and their support so far is outstanding. Some people get really pissed off when people enjoy things. They don't deserve our attention. Just keep enjoying the games you want to play and let them get more pissed off. :) ;)
@kurdish
Are you sure you have played the whole game? I just started squaring up against the LMB faction and their AI is vastly different than the thugs with a bat you fight at the start. I had to adjust my tactics. The same with the cleaners.
Granted it's not a night and day different but I'm a satisfied customer. Haven't even tried challenge mode yet.
I do agree that a bigger boss variety would be cool, maybe bosses that ca...
His post was meant to be a satire poke at how ridiculous everyone is getting with how much content / repetitiveness a game has.
On the Ubisoft forums they acknowledged that's an issue and they are looking into it.
Glad to see how quickly Massive patched it. Great support so far!
Agreed. The interface and online features are better than destiny too. It's so easy to see where friends are and what join them. Not to mention matchmaking for everything. Great job Massive. Can't wait to see how the game matures over the next year.
How did this get approved? Sad.
Exactly. Why does no one complain about every CoD campaign being 6 hours and then hitting the multiplayer level cap in a few days?
Exactly. This is a non-news article just like half the stuff on this website.
They released tech specs. So Scorpio will at a minimum meet the performance they announced today. If they somehow downgraded they'd look pretty retarded so I'd say what they announced today was proof enough.
