The media is the biggest cancer in our world today. Not just in gaming but every facet of our life. Everyone is pushing their own agenda instead of reporting unbiased facts. It's disgusting. I take every headline with a grain of salt these days whether I'm on N4G or USAToday.
Their mouths are watering at how much the people of N4G are all shaken up about he Scorpio so they continue to write articles to cash in while it's hot lol.

I think that's why we didn't see a Halo 6 announcement or teaser. They are saving it to show off Scorpio once it's made more progress. To get people to really jump on the Scorpio train they will need a heavy hitting launch title and halo 6 fits that.

Same thing was said about HD tv's back when 360/PS3 came out.

But seriously relax, they are just game consoles. Competition is healthy for us gamers. If Sony wasn't doing this well Microsoft would not have probably went for the Scorpio this soon which is looking to be really awesome.

Who's to say it might not get more powerful? I doubt it would change but what they announced could be minimum performance specs.
So let me get this straight. Microsoft releases a statement that says what the minimum performance would be for the Scorpio and you say prove it! (If they somehow did not meet this statement it would be very embarrassing for them).
But then you turn around and say the PS5 which has not been announced by Sony on any stage and you say it will be more powerful but have no facts from the manufacturer whatsoever. To that I say "prove it!"

Yeah but gears has not been made from the ground up for Scorpio. I have a feeling halo 6 will be the "launch" game with Scorpio and that's where we will see it shine.
Agreed, I like this plan. It will suck for non Scorpio owners if there are Scorpio exclusive games tho.
Saving up to buy a 4K tv next year myself! They've really come down in price so next year should be even cheaper.
Think of it from microsofts point of view. Now you're buying a Windows 10 PC to play their games. But oh wait, they only made money on the software. So then they make a computer (Xbox one and family) and now they make money on hardware and software. From a business perspective it makes perfect sense IMO.

I think they only showed cool scenes where they are close to blowing up. But def check the game out, it was a lot of fun calling in your Titan and hopping in them and then ejecting. Cool experience.
