"Sony already allows cross-platform online play, there are games like WarFrame and FinalFantasyXIV:ARR that have cross-platform play on PS4/PC" for all of us that live in the future. It is about as likely as the plague making a return. There is no financial incentive to divest, it would remove the uniform ecosystem MS is trying to achieve, and it removes a viable profit center from the company list of assets. Not to mention that a person with a ONE PERCENT interest in the company can speak up all they like but they do not have as much pool as you may believe. Ballmer alone has more stock than that, and that one percent is a company not an individual.

You obviously do not have a 360. The first time I saw Destiny all I could think of was Halo. The characters even look the same. The big guys look just like the Brutes, but without the fury. And they carry a staff! The Brutes carry gravity hammers. Don't get me wrong, I think it will be a great game, but it is nothing more than an update Halo in a different setting.
I couldn't get past your second sentence. You do realize the size of HHDs refers to the disk size while on SSDs it is just a physical characteristic of the overall design size? Size on and SSD is irrelevant because it is a chip. But you are partial correct because it is not the size of the HHD that matters but the speed of the drive, 5400 or 7200 rpm.
The how accurate are these numbers? MS revealed nearly a week ago the total 360 sales surpassed 78.2 million. How is it this site is still less and these numbers are "current"? Which other numbers in here are incorrect?

You do realize that bluray has to pay MS for every device and disc made don't you? Just one of the patents that MS owns in bluray is the DirectX used to show the movie! And if you think it is not lucrative, Google pays MS $2 billion a year for patents in Android phones. I say it is close to a wash. Of course the bluray people are getting a little more out of the deal or it wouldn't be worth it, but no one here is hurting from a lack of cash flow on bluray.
