Why is this even being talked about in a positive light? So, it is OK for there to be LESS THAN 2 million units sold in the country that it is designed and manufactured in? You people are celebrating the fact that it has sold LESS THAN 2 million units in Japan since February of 2014? That is the definition of fanboy.
If I remember correctly they will be able to play together because the One will be running in full sim-mode as a 360. Both systems will appear to the server as 360's so there will be no problems playing with each other online.
Does it strike any else as odd that a day after getting the official news that Uncharted was delayed till Spring 2016 an article (rumor) surfaces about a slew of unannounced exclusives are due this fall?
I think Sony is making a mistake with VR. Not just Sony, but all of the companies jumping into the market. This reminds me of 3D televisions. They were out faster than they came in. Much the way 4k is going.
People ask you to act mature because once we get past puberty unless you have a stake in it, or it is a sports team, winning is a non-valid term. How did Sony or MS win? Did they take home a trophy? This week alone two AAA exclusives have been rumored for the One, and third party at that. So, what's your point?
I have the One and not a PS4. I really cannot comment on PS4 games but I can make an observation about Xbox. I have 92 friends on my friends list and I can think of three that would play a game of this type. It is not a degredation of the game but more an observation of the type of gamer on the Xbox. I think variety is good but I honestly don't think many Xbox users would buy this type of game. I may be wrong, in the end I can only speak for myself.

You do realize Chinese-Japanese relations are tenuous at best? Don't expect Sony to have very many sales in China. It may have something to do with Japan once trying to invade China. IDK
To better illustrate my point let's look at KZ and TF. KZ has an attachment rate of 2/7 (2.1 million sold out of 7 million consoles). TF has an attachment rate of 1.4/3.9 (using the last sold-through numbers). Do the math and KZ is 30% and TF is 35.9%. The trend of MS exclusives selling better continues (I know not in total number just yet but at the given rate of sale it is undeniable).
You are a prime example of what I am talking about. You say more units in the home means more market share which means more sales on your console. But RIGHT NOW with fewer consoles in homes MS is selling MORE software. They are already moving the most important piece, content. Try again. This time think about it before you answer.
I read the comments on here and it re-affirms the fact that the American educational system is in dire straights. Most of you people have very little to zero business since. If the One stays behind by 2 million units the entire year but sells for $100 more and/or has a higher attach rate MS is still making more money than Sony. How is that losing?

The boards seem like the people in them are getting dumber and dumber. So is that the case with Sony when Destiny is released? In Destiny you will have to have an internet connection to play single player and now with the PS4 you have to pay for multiplayer, so is it the same thing? Neither company is duping anyone. Think for half a second before you start to post comments people.

@seanpitt So you are saying that you should be pissed at Sony for lying and saying every game on the PS4 will be 1080P and 60FPS? That means you should sell your PS4 and never buy one again. Every company is going to test your loyalty. Hell, the paywall for PS+ was supposed to go towards improvements, have you seen any?
