Did you not read the title. It says "Performance Mode" right in the title, LOL. You are correct that it will not be a patch. That is the biggest difference between XSX and PS5 BC; PS needs patches to achieve the best BC results while XSX will enhance an BC game by simply playing it up to and including adding HDR to non-HDR titles.

Don't wait for Gold to expire. If you switch now however many months you have left on Gold will simply be converted to the same number of months for GamePass.

Not quite the same. If you delete you Xbox account it just removes it from your Xbox. It does not delete your games or achievements. I have delete my account before and then downloaded it again 20 minutes later.

If a game was BC from PS3 to PS4 does that mean it is compatible with PS5? Seriously, what if you purchased a game on the PS4 that was BC; does that mean it will work on PS5 or is that a non-factor? Curious as to how that will be determined.
