@Lennox
I was trying to avoid bringing up anything specific about other consoles but probably nothing will be done or said. The goal post will move. Whatever suits someones agenda or need. People keep setting all these rules meanwhile bothe these companies sit in board rooms trying to make money anyway they can to prepare for their future investments.
@Mrmagoo
I don't care what people believe about me. Ive been challenged on my gamer card before and ive proved it time and time again. I've stated numerous times I have preferences. Im not gonna change my tune because its unpopular. The one thing you can count on me NOT to do is..
1. Blatantly hate on PS4
2. Come into an Xbox article to talk crap about PS4
3. Write "I work in retail nobody has bought ____ console in 3 months...
The funny thing is this will be revered as factual journalism and not click bait at all. If it were the other way around this article would have more reports than you could imagine.
While it's completely fine to have his opinion. I can't help but think that this is an attempt to capitalize on the toxic communities attention. It comes across as just another scoop of negativity for the large pile of popular reasons to devalue someone elses preference or enjoyment. Oth...
I have friends on all systems so getting rid of a console means getting rid of friends. Which I won't do. So if you have zero friends on Xbox I would say donate the console to a kid who would appreciate it for gaming.
Although, there will probably come a time that something will come out on xb1 that you will kick yourself for not keeping it. Its not like all games come to PC. I typically only play the exclusives on my PS4. I play mostly MP and exclusives on Xbox One....
@everyone above
I guess moving forward this behavior is acceptable. The people have spoken with the mighty hammer of their down vote.
This is such a wonderful community to belong too.
Oh well feel free to down vote me for speaking. After all agrees and disagrees make the real truth. Amirite?
@spectre.
Please do. You will notice a theme. I never put down PS4. Because I don't hate it. I bought on...
@golem
I'm totally calm. I own a PS4. I even congratulated sony below saying it's super impressive they've sold half the amount of consoles as last gens ps3. Wtf does his comment have to do with this article? He's trolling.
So we should support this kind of behavior now?
I think it's a good selling point. Especially since I can use it on both my Xbox and my PC. I will be able to enjoy it with more friends that way. Price is gonna be key though.
To sell 40 million in a quarter of the time that PS3 sold about 80 million over 8 years is pretty impressive. It's pretty much snow balled at this point.
A quick look at your comments on N4G makes this a little hard to believe.
Ps3: power doesn't matter
Xb1: power doesn't matter
PS4 neo: power doesn't matter
Gamers: power doesn't matter.
Doesn't really matter what side says it. Enjoying your time with games and friends matters. Doesn't mean it's not nice to have options or the ability to reach what power suits your needs or we would all just game on PC.
Wow... that just seems like a clear misuse of the report button.
@Aenea
" You jest, but I wouldn't be too surprised if we get a yearly pissing contest between these two companies with yearly console upgrade... sigh..."
Ya know if all this is actually true. I wouldn't doubt it. The unfortunate bi product of all these people online bragging about resolutions, frames and powah. They heard ya loud and clear online. If the Oculus thing they assume might happen in the article actually happens then more pow...
@star
It was a joke. Just pointing out how important this crap is to some people. It was dumb last Gen and it's still dumb this gen.
@growl
Salt because I own a PS4? Interesting.
God... I hope so. I've got a lot riding on this.
How long are the shows usually? I thought they were about that long. Seems like they should have enough material at least.
There are Micro a transactions in Uncharted 4, Halo 5 and Overwatch. Guess which ones nobody ever complains about microtransactions for. If people want to pay extra for extra content. Then so be it. Nobody has to. If any restrict your enjoyment after buying a game. Online will canabalize the game over it. It works it's self out.
Why are people worried about it though? I thought it was doing really well. What happens when it reaches a certain number? What if it doesn't reach that number? Will it be OK?
Such a weird concern over a great game.
I completely agree. Some of the most HARDCORE Doom friends I know have done nothing but rave about the campaign.. I still enjoy the MP despite the popular opinion that it sucks. It's doom. I want any part of it.
I'm still having a hard time understanding who the people that say they are devout are upset with this game.
Are people comparing the new Doom to DOOM 3? It feels like the way some people talk about their disappointment is that they wanted a completely vapid experience void of anything new. Why not just play old mods of DOOM if you want it to be EXACTLY like the first. I came away really truly impressed and enjoyed the campaign. I've even gone back to play the ol...
You can't generalize every gamer into a group because one of the loudest ones happens to dislike something for an agenda. Well I guess you can if you also have an agenda.
