I love how tweets are now considered a written marketing speech to the public. At least Spencer acknowledges his competitions existence and doesn't ever attempt a jab. That says more to me.
He's an exec guys. What is he supposed to say? "I hate Sony"? If you think that then I fully expect to hear PS execs say "I hate MS".
I'm a huge horror fan and I will tell you there are far more horror games on PC. Not to slight the Consoles. I own both the next gen.
I'm picking this up though. Day one. There is another horror slasher game coming out called Sumber Camp. To consoles and PC. Not sure when.
I'm pretty sure this will be a franchise. Just a guess, but it looks like a good caliber of game. Definitely good to hear it might be coming out sooner than later.

I don't think anyone thought that. They just meant the % from dx12 boosted the original % performance the xbox one had BEFORE dx12? I mean that's what i assumed at least. Why would the game run better on Xbox compared to PC?

That was pretty funny. I wonder if this game was released if people would have been as outraged.
It's one thing to not be interested in something. It's another thing to hope someones hard work fails. Kind of harsh.
Also Remedys plan has been to have real actors doing some of the live action/drama show that is accompanying the game. Kind of important to nail the acting part if you ask me. As it could reflect on the game poorly.

That may be true but RotTR has been a huge topic of discussion and I'm sure a lot of eyes will be on its release as well.
Clearly the fact F4 is on so many platforms it's obviously going to get more attention but look at all these articles on TR the past year. It's generating attention even without advertising. Perhaps because of console war stuff but it's still pushing it to the top of discussions.

I was just thinking the same thing. You are probably right. It is an entirely online game so.... makes sense. They have to beta test it. The only valid rebuttal I could see is
1. You will probably have to preorder it to play the beta. Which is kind of a meh obsticle really.
2. If your not sure you want to buy it and want to try it.
3. EA does want their service to make money. So who knows how they might handle it.

Absolutely nothing wrong with having a preferrence. The only time it's an issue is when people use their preference to act "superior" to other gamers. Its not cool with any platform. I just want to play games.
Hey at least you are open to play games everywhere. I'm probably getting this on XB1 and PC. It's nice to be able to play it first.
I'm sure it was all in good fun because they deal with each other all the time but.., still felt unnecessary to poke at.
I have EA Access specifically so I can play battlefront early. However, it's nice to have extra games to play. Dragon Age Inquisition is in the vault too. So its not so bad.
I don't think subscriptions is a bad thing by any means. For those who don't collect games and want to try some things it's a great option.
However, if you are a gamer that collects games it's nice to know you can continue to play your games on the newer system and offline. Or outright buy these older last gen games on the digital market to play on your newer console. You can even get the physical disc cheaper online and pay even less than digital most times. ...
