Anyone trying to copywrite "Let's Play" in any fashion after the millions of people using it is not being considerate to the community in my opinion. Especially Sony who is "for the players" to begin with.
No offense to anyone but had this been another competing console of Sonys this story would be spun a completely different way. To think that Sony wasn't aware of the millions upon millions (of one of the most popular used titles on youtube) videos seems a bit off.
It could be something completely innocent but for a company that knows it's gamers so well it comes across as very very shady. IMO they shouldnt have even toyed with the idea.
It's pretty easy to assume. I don't blame you for being cautious but don't close it off based on assumptions. Just wait and see if that's what's best for you. Otherwise you could be missing out on something great.

It's doing fine on its own. It's just not selling as many as PS4 so that means (by fanboy standards) it's not selling at all. No one was arguing that PS4 isn't selling better. It's just the people who use words like decimate destroy and any other type of word to make it seem like xbox isn't selling at all.
Lots of people are more than just content with their choice of console. They want to destroy the xbox brand any way they can...

I love the extreme Hyperbole in article headlines and comments. They are intended to make everything seem much worse than it really is. People exaggerate online A LOT. Decimate means to have destroyed something. It hasn't destroyed Xbox. It's still standing. I'm cool with that.

There have been articles on both sides just as much. The ones that stick out to you perhaps are the ones you sited. There are "Bucket loads" of articles dooming xbox every single day. It's really no different. IMO MS gave Sony a head start only Sony never looked back. At this point.

I have a feeling you underestimate Minecrafts reach. It's not just gaming. It's toys, merch, licensing and everything. That game is insanely huge.
Sure, i'm just not fond of the game. I played it on PS4 and wasn't t0o excited. It's just surprising that it took so many years.
Seems a bit late for a game that isn't even that popular online. Perhaps that's why they are finally bringing it to Xbox now. They need more money.

I worry about quality more than price. I don't want a blurry or dizzy experience by any means. Not suggesting either will have this but we just don't know how much the price will reflect quality yet. At least till we have all the devices on our heads.
Probably best to see which is best after they have all released. I'm not interested in buying 3 VR devices to use one. It's best to wait.
