MGS4 has one of the best ever stories for a game. There is no disputing that. Just because its not grounded in reality doesn't mean its bad. look at Star Wars. Many people consider a fantastic story, even though it has laser swords and lard monsters.
One game had a an install time of over 10 minutes. You make it sound like every game on the system does. And you think that the ps3 is a hardware failure? What about the box in your living room glowing red?
Why would there be a teaser for a game already announced?
#1 This is data for only one day of MGS4 being out, so we don't know how much it sold on its first week.
#2 MGS4 has earned these sales by being an amazing game. Halo 3 only sold so well because people will buy no matter if its good or not.
I honestly have no problem waiting for rpgs. It just means that when they come out, they have a better chance of being good.

Ive never heard serious racism. Only kiddy joking around racism. Plus i only time I played xbox live was when i went to my cousins, which is like twice a year.
I remember going to my cousin's and he'd play halo 2 all the time. I never heard racism, sexism, or anything bad really. But now every time i go their and hes playing cod4, its so bad. If i was gonna pay 50 bucks a year for live, id want to make sure that people are moderated at least a little bit. But its seems like nothing ever happens to those who do these bad things. Maybe xbox live just grew too fast and out of ms' control?

I thinks the delay is probably a result of over-ambitiousness by the developers. Maybe well see them next generation or at the end of this one.
I usually hate these small opinionated blogs, but this dude is right one the money. The gaming media is bad. Its immature, its biased, and doesn't care about integrity. I remember the fox news/mass effect thing that went on. Many game journalists launched against fox for being opinionated, but honestly? At least fox tells the story factually and honestly first, and then bombards it with opinions.
I don't see why theres a problem with this. Qore is totally optional and cheap anyway. Its not required for anything. The PSN is still free. Saying that Qore is a ripoff is like saying any playstation magazine is a ripoff.

The first ever Metal Gear Solid game I played was Snake Eater, a prequel to the firs Metal Gear game, and I understood what was going on at Shadow Moses. It easy to understand that they have a lot of memories there. You might not get the whole thing, but it is still immerses you.
