Its so sad that one of the greatest games ever made won't be recognized because of fanboys like you. They made a great game. So what if it's not on your favorite system? Gives credit where credit is due.
They're long, but awesome. Hell its my third time playing through and I still watch some of them.
Konami is a mediocre developer. Lots of good games, lots of bad. Kojima himselfhas only done one genre successfully. Blizzard has conquered RTS, Action-Rpg, and MMORPG. If the name Blizzard is on the box, you know its good. Konami, not so much.
Wow has gotten 10 million people to pay 15 bucks a month for it. Halo can.t do that. Metal Gear can't do that. Gears can't do that. GTA can't do that. And Blizzard is definitely one of, if not the, greatest developer ever. Their games have quality. If they don't, then they cancel it. Look at Starcraft Ghost. To sum that all up, this guys an idiot and needs his first amendment rights taken away, until he earns them back.
So far MGS4 and GTA4 are the contenders, and will probably remain so. Little Big Planet, Gears 2, Starcraft 2, Resistance 2, and maybe Fable 2 will be included later. The only game I see that will rival either mGS4 or GTA4 is LBP, or maybe Fable 2 (a strong maybe). Ya I think they're way off this time. Sony said MGS4 has sold 3 million so far. And even a fanboy can't think VgChartz is more reliable than Sony.

Sony is a hardware company with a lot of close competitors who they need to track. Microsoft is a software company who's nearest competitor only has 7-10% of the market share, so they really have no need to be very exact in tracking. Of course Sony's number should be given an edge in truthfulness. They could be off, but its more likely that they're more accurate than Microsoft.

I didn't say Halo was milked. And you could say that Sony is milking some franchises, but as long as the cow is still giving good milk, then its fine. And shooters need more time apart from releases. They just don't change that much between releases. Action games can vary a little more from game to game then shooters usually can. Also, Halo is Microsoft's first good series. GoW released in 2005. GoW2 released in 2007. GoW3 estimated release in 2009. 2 year difference, all quality games. Chains of Olympus, a prequel and a psp game, was released 2008, and is still a quality game. Ratchet and Clank game are all great platformers, regardless of how many there are. If there's quality and quantity, then you can't miss.
Final Fantasy is a different game with a different story and different characters every game. If Final Fantasy 2 was a direct sequel to FF1, and FF3 was a direct sequel to FF2, and so on and so forth, that would be considered milking. Plus they are all quality games any how.

There's no problem with making more halo games, as long as they leave the original trilogy alone. As long as the games they make are made with quality, and they don't over do it, then there's no problem.
People don't realize that they lost money on the ps3, but made money on both the ps2 and psp. They have still lost money overall, but because they have two other active consoles, they can take a bigger hit on the ps3.
I agree with this guy 100%. So many games this gen have been overhyped. Halo 3, Madden, Mario Galaxy, Mass Effect, Bioshock, and Haze jump out to me. They're fine games, but they're not what the masses said they were.I've had more fun with games that average 8's than games that are supposedly GOTY. The only games that have deserved the hype they got so far has been GTA4 (maybe), Oblivion, and MGS4.
You might want to play the game before you judge it.
Blizzard don't care about the money that Diablo makes. They have WoW for that. To them, it's about making a great game for the fans. Blizzard only has one business tactic, WoW, and it works great. SO they do what they want, which means no console version. Theres a slim chance that it can come to the ps3, because of free internet, mouse and keyboard support, and the hard drives, but if they don't want to, then they wont.
