Only JRPG I played on the 360 was Last Remnant..I didn tthink it was that bad, but the tech problems totally brought it down. I am surprised they would actually release the game with such a slowdown and the popout textures. There is no way they could of not noticed this...
Overall, not a bad game, decent game and actually had one of the best RPG battle sequences that I've ever played...Decent game IMO other than the Tech issues.
I find it very odd with all the hate on ME2. ME2 was a pretty damn good game. The best I've played in a long time...I am sick and tired of short games with limited stories and just straight shooting through the game mindlessly...
ME2 had all the elements you would want in the game. A lot of missions, contact, character development, story line, difficulty, action, and you can enjoy 30-40 hours with this game...

I think it is obvious the ps3 at some point will catch up in worldwide sales...not sure what the totals are, but considering xbox has no market in Japan, they would have to make up one important market. Euro is pretty huge in racing games so GT5 is going to be a hit. I felt the game had a chance to be a great game, but it just was missing something....The fact that the game was super short did not help...For a project that was 5 years old, excluding future DLC, the length of the game was probably only 8 hours long...
One thing to compare two games, but two games in two different genres? ya it would be easy to put in 200 hour in reach, but mostly in multiplayer...

I see a lot of kinect bashing when it was announced as Natal way back...Saying motion thing is played out and ms is stealling from Nintendo....Then the same people bashing are probably praising Move...odd odd thing...

The main issue with this game is that the game is way too short and too linear...Playing through the game, it has potential to be a great game, but I was able to finish the game rather quickly and almost found all the coffee bottles (grr)...
If there is a sequel, I hope the sequel has more content, less linear, and more ability to explore..

I agree with the assessmnt that ME2 is an RPG. If ME1 is an RPG this game is an RPG. The comment about ME2 not being an RPG I believe is soley based on the combat system...The game elements are the same ..YOu have a main character,you got missions you have choices and the choices you make affect the game...
If Mass effect 1 is considered an RPG, dont so why not ME2...I just finished ME last week and am about 10 hours in for ME2....Has the same feel with upgrade system and combat system being different...So instead of the battle system being 3rd person instead of dicerolling type logic, its not an RPG? The game plays the same to me except for the combat/upgrade system...
Gears of war is what you call a third persn shooter...they just implemented a third person system in an WRP...

Enjoyed the first game...Every article i read about DA2 seems more like Fable 3, but a more graphic version...
Xbox is much better to look at, easier to navigate, but the only problem is not free if you dont have xbox live gold...
Since I've been playing madden/dragon age on my ps3, I wish psn was more like xbox live..god that damn thing is ugly and annoying to use...Navigating through messages suck as well....

Strickly gameplay alone, Last Remnant is a solid JRPG...I enjoyed the game and put in a good 80 hours....Tons of sidequests, free DLC, and the side mission bosses are extremely difficult. The battle system is unique as well and takes some time to get used to. I believe this game is worth a try at the least, I got my game for 25 bucks so wasnt too much to spend for an RPG. I enjoyed this game more than FFXII

3 devices vs 1...but Madden 11 is such a joke...I thought m10 was pretty good and all they had to do is polish it, but instead, they butchered and now it is glitchy....sad
