actually its a bit laggy once you open up apps
this is what a public beta is for, to figure out these issues . When they are testing this in their internal environment, it isn't the same playing servers with the masses.
Should of known better because this has plagued game after game.
Don't release patches saying it fixes matchmaking issues when in fact it doesn't.
When you do and then play one match in 30 min like I did yesterday, People going to be pissed. Release a patch that fixed the issue and announce. Don't try to pull a fast one on your customers by using the word improve when it's just as bad.
People already moving on from mcc. 343 screwed this up badly and it's going to hurt them.
the game has become a huge joke...the patch didn't fix much of anything, i dont actually think it fixed anything at all.
Matchmaking is not consistent, not much better than it ws after the server side updates and always disconnects after the last match.
why is it setting up games 5 on 4 or 4 on 3, its never an even game. so there is not more than 10 people trying to play this game? perhaps, since they moved on from this crap...its a joke
my guess is, this will never be fully fixed.. Too much of an undertaking to have four different types of multiplayer.
THat is just realisty IMO. Developers know there could be issues, they need to QA this shit to death with betas if need be.
While improved, i shouldn't have to wait like 5 minutes to play a match. Sometimes wont connect and have to back out and go search again starting the process over. This is still post patch..

Great single player experience, very unique and fun to play.
Problem is, lack of replay-ability. Too bad there wasn't a multi player arena mode for this game, would be fun with all those weapons and grinding around.

the matchmaking was horrid first couple days, they did some server side updates and improved. i was able to get in games 2-3 minute sometimes faster s tthey improved it, a full fix hopefully tomorrow
if he is referring to the connectivity issue as a hiccup, he might want to think about how much is a hiccup it is when people like to play online and cant.
No different from MCC issues with xbone, it is a huge let down, we all know that launches come with issues, so developers i hope would make sure they test the shit out of things before releasing.
If they dont, people will play other games and we are seeing that with driveclub and mcc.

You are assuming xbone sales improve and then ps4 stays stagnant.
They can be selling 5x more but ps4 selling faster.

I've played in a madden league since madden 2010 starting off with ps3 for madden 10 and madden 11.
I switched to xbox sometime for m11 and the connection was better. I never got dced like i got on ps3 and the lag wasnt there on the xbox. It was quite smooth. So i decided to go to xbox on madden 12 and didnt regret.

for those that havent used windoes 8 preview, wat u have with win7 is there in win 8 and it is faster. Only difference is no start menu and os loads up metro first. There is a big desktop tile where u can click to get to desktops.

Surprised how responsive it was as the videos i remember seeing pre-launch looked unresponsive.
Voice recognition to go through apps and searching for contect worked fine. Responsiveness both in daytime and nighttime were pretty much spot on.
