I wouldnt care about using a gamepad on a PC Shooter.
If i had a choice between Mouse/Keyboard and Gamepad, im going Mouse/keyboard. Majority or close to all would choose the same thing because of accuracy and speed.
You have a Mouse/Keyboard vs console match...Mouse/keyboard would dominate...
If i got this game on Console, I would not want to play against PC gamers. Cross platform is not good for FPS because PC gamers will have such an advantage. You can say that ps3 supports keyboard mouse, but most people dont have a pc like setup with their ps3.
PC, you are usually at a desk up in your screen while you play your ps3 games sitting on your couch on your 50 inch HDTV....
If cs isnt casual friendly, i dont know wat is. There are no perks add ons or ranking crap u got to do. Simple, kill get money and buy new gun. Everyone on same playing field. Cod gamers that rank has clear advantage.
Isnt really any point togo cross plat. The best pc gamer will kill the best console gamer every time.
Cross plats would be good for mmos or dungeon crawlers, not fps games
Xbox lead was down to 3 million a few quarters ago right? Now the lead looks like its going back to 5 million. Safe to say both systems are here to stay and doesnt matter who finishes 3rd.

Makes sense to announce at E3 and launch holiday season to get a headstart on Sony (assuming sony doesnt plan on releasing until 2013). Of course, this is contigent on MS putting some Quality Control on their systems to avoid another RROD debacle
As usual, i would probaly wait a year to get the new system from MS/Sony since launch games arent usually that great and potential discounts down the road...
