The Teraflop number is a system's average "theoretical" performance figure, and does not go down or up. It is used to display the performance of a processor/GPU or system as a whole.
It is calculated on how many floating operations a processor/GPU can perform in a second (on average), hence the name "Tera". (Trillion floating operations per second).
So the Series X GPU has a "average" performance of 12 trillion flops per ...
Article goes on about having the correct monitor with 4k resolution and 144hz to benefit from the new 3000 series, but surely that is the same if you buy a PS5 or Series X? You still need a 4K TV/monitor with a refresh rate of 120hz to be able to take full advantage of the consoles technology, so i don't see what argument the author is trying to make.
PC gamers - will buy the new 3000 series cards and upgrade where necessary.
Console gamers - will just buy a ne...
These consoles should be able to do 4K at 60fps native.
Don't know what it has to do with Duke Nukem lmao
Never mind, watched the trailer before reading the article, it is voiced by the voice actor of Duke Nukem (but does not sound like Duke in the trailer)
Ah i never knew that, it has been years since i had a wheel, but i am tempted to get one for the upcoming gen. I seem to be playing more and more racing games at the mo.
Would be good if they can incorporate dualsense and haptic feedback into 3rd party peripherals.
But i am guessing they will most probably release their own wheel with them on.
"60FPS with a resolution up to 4K"
Does that mean it is utilising a variable resolution?
Why is AC:Valhalla not on this list? Surely they will show that a bit more.
Funny how we get this extra support news on the series X after Nvidia have revealed support for Microsoft's direct storage on the new 3000 series GPU's.
NDA over? now let us pre-order it!!!
I am going with £449 min, £499 max for the UK.
Maybe because the Series S is no where near release, and whether it actually exists.
Gamepass for £1 is for new subscribers or for upgrading to ultimate from normal gamepass.
No chance at $449 USD, i would put the disc less at around $400
Yeah that is what i am thinking, $599 US, £499 UK, Euro499 (hopefully) (Direct conversion from USD to GBP currently comes in at £453)
lol, if true and they go with £599 GBP, they will have a massive shock
I'm still sticking to $549
You can't draw direct currency conversions, as you have to take into account taxation of different regions.
Well Doritos and Mountain Dew had previous deals so why not.
Monster has one with halo infinite

Article reads like it was written by a child.
The borders between platforms, is only good for one person, the consumer, the gamer. No longer will we need to buy multiple consoles to experience the same games if all games are available cross-platform.
Personally i don't see that happening, Microsoft are more inclined to include their games on the PC as they create the operating system they run on. Sony not so much, so when people say "xbox games a...
@Apocalypse
"Teraflops mean nothing."
So my 1gb 10 year old graphics card is on par with a £1499 - 34 Tflops monster? Ok then.
It is more powerful than the discontinued xbox one X, it is using the new CPU/GPU architecture.
