I've already called out the title as being misleading :-
1) it is a 3rd party timed console launch exclusive
2) it is the only game on the Series of consoles and not cross-gen (xbox one)
Neither is it 1st party, or even attempting to be a system seller.
There are 12 reviews out of 58 currently at 85+

But lets focus on them 4 bottom ones to fit the fanboy narrative, and ignore the 43 out of 58 reviews above 70.

Your obsession with this game Sully knows no bounds, countless comments in multiple articles and reviews, attempting to discredit and downplay the fact that some gamers/reviewers are enjoying the game.
It is sad to see, it really is. It is clear you do not like xbox, so why are you wasting your time?
I have not played much of Gears 5, but i agree Horizon 4 looks amazing for a last gen game, even on a 1080p TV. (I am lagging in this regard, i have my eye on my 4K TV, but the cost makes me cringe)
3rd party timed exclusive, don't attempt to try and paint Microsoft 1st party offerings as "mediocre" by saying "Why do Xbox fans love wallowing in mediocrity".
So will this title still be mediocre when it launches for PS5?
It is the first non cross-gen title, i think that is what they mainly mean. The title of the article is misleading, as this is the 1st and only Series S|X exclusive so far (omitting PC).
More to the fact that they do not mention the title within the article, to compare it to any other Series X exclusives.
Only if you make it Sully.
"The dual-reality moments are all scripted, so for the most part you can't hop freely between the two worlds."
"so when you compare them to the gameplay demos of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, the freedom in switching between the alternate realities in Sony's game,"
Erm, yeah those switching realities are scripted as well in Sony's game.
Exactly, to give as low a score as 3, sounds like a review from either a salty fanboy, or someone who hates horror games.
@S2Killinit
I do not need any money for this game, it is on gamepass, i already subscribe so i get it for free.
@gerbintosh
Watching a game on twitch or youtube, does not give you the same level of immersion as playing yourself, sure you can see how the gameplay is etc, but watching a stream will not mirror the correct fidelity as playing the game natively.
More than the gamespot review are giving it a 9 out of 10 lol.
32 positive vs 2 negative on metacritic, but like you say "Some people just like to take offense at opinions that don't match theirs, I guess."
Funny how you are only commenting on the negative reviews/low scorers.
Are you avoiding the ones giving it 8/9 out of 10 purposely?
I'm going to pass judgement myself, there seems to be currently more positive than negative 25 pos, 22 mix, 2 neg.
The only way to judge a game, is play it yourself.
Good solid 9/10 from these guys, roll on 12pm tonight!!!
I don't like to disappoint :)
Wow, so you can not even store PS5 games either? Just read that article and it says Sony may not even allow people to play PS5 games from an external SSD!
"However, it doesn't look like Sony will ever have any plans to let you play PS5 games from an external SSD."
That is indeed a shame, i can kind of understand the playing games scenario, as you would need to match the internal SSD (much like Series S|X expansion), but not being able to sim...
Yeah i thought it must mean SSD's, i recall 3rd party having to have SSD's "whitelit" by Sony a while back to be compatible with the PS5 to get the extra features/run games. But i'm assuming you can already use HDD/SSD externals, but you just can not run the PS5 game from the external?
"Little Devil Inside is at the forefront of a new wave of PS5 indies"
Also available on PC, PS4 (July 2021), and Xbox and Switch later. Those tags also need adding, rather than this seeming like a PS5 exclusive.
I think they need a new journalist or something.
