Making and distributing devices that allow you to pirate software by Stealing Sony Software, reverse engineering and the use of any copyright code is illegal.
For starters without a proper paid Sony license, Sony would never approve such a device.
Why would anyone in PC gaming opt for sub par visuals and pay through the nose for the privilege.

Thats the point of licensed hardware, once they pay the fee than can produce hardware under license. Don't pay and your not licensed to produce hardware. Hence all the crappy quality couterfeit PS3 pads.

The cost for using this new tech would be alot higher than the existing PSEye tech.
