The weird thing is that this is the most graphically advanced game on consoles, and it is a month away from release yet there is almost no Marketing from Microsoft.
In my opinion, Sunset Overdrive was probably good for when it came out and I had the unfortunate opportunity of playing it after Rift Apart. The game feels dated right now and for a much younger audience.
One of the reasons it hasn't been ported as yet maybe because it is dated. It will need to be remade with hopefully the same style as HiFi Rush to be appealing enough in these times.
I really need to catch up on Gears of War. I played the first game but didn't get a chance to play the others.
Good
True their monetization is driving players away and at the same time, their decision to chop out content and convoluted systems is keeping new players away from the game.
I would like to see a remake of Parasite Eve, FF8 & 9 and Digimon World 3. Not only with improved graphics and modernized gameplay.
I don't mind the length of the game. I don't have time to play a 20 hour game nowadays anyway unless it is ratchet and clank, Mario or Zelda. My biggest disappointment with this game is the framerate.
I agree. There are gamers like myself who find it very uncomfortable to play a game at 30 fps and I tend to stop playing altogether as a result. If a performance mode is not possible then at least provide a 40 fps option for persons who have a 120 fps display.
I really don't like the sudden shift back to 30 fps on consoles. It's like making people get accustomed to watching color TV for 3 years and then asking them to go back to watching TV in black and White.
Guys read the article. Most of the comments I have read so far seem to think this means gamers prefer retro or older single-player games over what is being released today but that is not the case.
The majority of games that are being played by the community as a whole are games like Fortnite, GTAV, Minecraft, Roblox, and Rocket League. These are all games that were released years ago and the newer generation of gamers prefer these live service games over newer single-player...
Make Windows or SteamOS bootable from the Xbox and it will give Microsoft the boost in the market share they are looking for.
I'm not convinced this is the profanity filter. It doesn't make sense to censor words like class, harvest and dance. It seems to be a bug.
I stopped playing Palworld when Helldivers 2 came out. I may return one day if they manage to give the Xbox version a graphical and performance update. I would also appreciate more content.
If you put 200 hours in a game and enjoyed it then all I can say is that it was money well spent.
One of the things I like about Helldivers 2 is that if you have 30 minutes to kill, you can jump into a game and have a great time. No need to keep track of a convoluted storyline or try to remember complicated gameplay elements.
I thought the layoffs were bad. It's bad when Microsoft does it and when Phil Spenser spoke about it 99% of the comments on this site were about how Xbox sucks. When someone is commenting on how Sony layoff people, you instantly find persons that run to defend Sony. This type of behavior is not good for gaming. Remain consistent in your principles no matter who is doing the wrongdoings. Stop waving your pompoms to one side because these companies don't care about you or their employee...
This is great. I will give this game a try when the update is live.
I find the AI helpful when searching and summarizing information. I suppose if you have a reason to disable it then others will find what you have posted very helpful but bear in mind that this is the direction personal computers and smartphones are going and the tech will only improve if we use it.
Since this is a video game, you can expect that in most cases, gamers would appreciate good and fresh gameplay. Nintendo has been able to stay in business all these years by following this rule.
After the gameplay loop has been established, you should add your story to keep the player engaged followed by a great soundtrack to make certain moments of the experience memorable. Many indie games use ambient music in their games and I don't like it. Makes it feel boring. I t...
Wow, A lot of people here are making their anti-Xbox bias not see the true meaning behind what Phil Spenser is saying.
For many years persons who align with social democracy have argued against the current form of capitalism where each company is expected to increase their profits each year so they can continue to attract investors.
Phil Spencer believes the gaming industry hasn't really grown because, at the end of each generation, it is roughly th...
I would like to know what goggles you are wearing or what dictionary you are using to get that from forward compatibility.
Forward compatibility simply means they are developing their games in a way to ensures it will also work on future hardware. That way they don't have to put too much resources into making them backwards compatible when the next generation comes around.
This is a term that has been used in IT for over a decade.
