I don't think storytelling has blossomed this gen - great storytelling was in abundance well before this gen. Not saying it's not there now, I just don't think we've seen any major advances in the way stories are delivered or the quality of the story itself.

edit - Lolk mate. I'm not talking something as outlandish as Minority Report obviously. If you don't want to see what's in front of you that's sweet. I just think that if people actually looked at what Natal is offering already, and open their minds a little, they'll realise that there are huge possibilities for the software, and when you factor in true 3d tech in the next year or two, the possibilities open up even more.

It's funny because the same people that bash the Wii are excited about Move and don't want to see what Natal could potentially mean for the household as a whole and not just as a gaming device.

Being a mainly PC gamer, I tend to agree but not to the extent that you take it (T9X69). Console gaming is deservedly the bigger market share atm, there is no question of that. But PC gaming hasn't gone down the shitter, there are still plenty of great quality games being dev'd for the PC, and it will be a long, long time before PC gaming goes away.

With any other company i'd agree with you, but this is Apple. They may be playing catch up - but the majority of people don't know that and don't care, and will buy the new iPhone thinking it is the peak of technology to date and the best that can be bought.
And i'll be one of the few that aren't ignorant but make the choice to get the new iPhone, mainly due to the great experiences i've had with my 3G and the amount of great apps that I use on a daily...
