I'd imagine that your PS3 would explode trying to do that.
Won't happen anytime soon because if it was using sony's current "3d" technology, you would have to wear those stupid glasses while chatting, and nobody wants to do that. Until true 3D technology becomes viable for home use, something like this is destined to fail.
edit - it would be destined to fail if consumers weren't stupid.
That was fucking hilarious.
But I can't help but be worried about the education of young Latinos.
The Postal dude?
Isn't GT5 in 3D and coming out before KZ3?
Nah I haven't played either, i'm just going off what i've seen, and I put what i've seen of GT5 way above anything else i've seen racing related in a while. Having said that, I take your point, just seemed a little odd to me.
How is Rage game of the show when it only won one sub genre?
Portal 2 deserves everything it's awarded for me - it looks unbelievable.
edit - also, how did GT5 NOT win best racing game?
Maybe she's in a wheelchair and doesn't mind that he's unfit?
Pretty sure fitness doesn't help when you get hit by a drunk driver running a red light.
Agreed that it can't compete with Steam, that's a given, and I sort of doubt that even the Blizz people think it could compete anytime soon in any meaningful way, or ever for that matter.
But I think as far as the community stuff goes within the Blizzard catalogue of games, it could do very well, and even though I don't like the always online aspect, i'm much more prepared to accept this form of DRM which actually gives something back to the players (ala Steam...
I think the new battle.net will be great - I just don't think lan play had to be axed to accomodate it. I know it's to block the hamachi players, but I don't like games that have single player components that are dependant on a server somewhere not shitting itself.
The title on n4g may be misleading, but as soon as you open the article it says "Best First Person Shooters Released on Consoles the Last 15 Years".
People just aren't seeing it for some reason...
It's a list for console fps, PC fps not included.
@ TrapperDan - you're off your head aren't you? The Half Life series is one of the most critically acclaimed series in gaming history.
Best FPS shooters on consoles....
From that video, all you would have to do is run to either side of where the guy using move is looking and if you're any good you'd get a shot off much quicker than he would.
The reticule moves amazingly slow in order to increase accuracy from the looks of it, which means reflexes will be taken out of the equasion for move users, so in essence it's rewarding terrible gamers, which is exactly what the "hardcore gamer" wouldn't want.
Just on that, is that a limitation of the software or the hardware? Because i've seen the PS3 eye in some pretty amazing PC based installations where subtle motions are picked up really well.
I remember back when I was younger I had a wireless handheld house, that had like a track ball on top that you moved with your thumb and triggers that rested under your fingers. I think it was a little smaller than the move controller as well.
To me that would be a more accurate solution if implemented correctly and if all you wanted was to be able to sit back on a couch and play a game, and weren't interested in anything extra that move offers.
That's basically just a less responsive and less accurate mouse.
As someone said in the video, the bloke was playing in easy mode, with no real fast movements needed.
I think that even in a game as simple as table tennis on a harder difficulty, you'd notice the lag and it would be pretty annoying.
In a shooter where stuff is happening all around and only fast reaction times keep you alive, it could be really noticeable and "throw controller through the screen" annoying.
Yes, the ones that only idiots wear inside the house while gaming.
edit - @ Dnied - where did I say anything about looks?
