Bah ninja edit. Happy they're continuing to support the game.
Is a shame that Valve are almost always ignored in these discussions. Maybe with an upcoming presence on consoles that will change.
Super Columbine Massacre RPG makes me want to play through Chrono Trigger for the thousandth time.
The article writer is partly correct - a lot of the 3D stuff being thrown around atm is just tacked on for sales, and you can easily tell the difference between something that was made for 3D and something where 3D was added as an afterthought. When it's done right it is good though.
3D technology is the way forward, but the current technology is like playing with matchbox cars or micro machines before driving a real car. When the technology sitting on the backburner beco...
I didn't realise a console that succeeded at the purpose it was built for sucked. You said it was built for casual gamers - i'm pretty sure it's safe to say it's a successful casual console.
Gaming for the future? Would it surprise you to learn that the biggest growth in the past couple of years in the gaming industry has been in facebook games and similar casual games? I'm guessing yes.
Get over your fanboism and realise that in the end, ...
And for all I know my mother could be my fathers brother, but we won't know until they're all dead. Pointless speculation is pointless.
At first that bothered me, but if the Terran campaign is as long as they say it's going to be, I don't mind it being stand alone, and am quite happy to pay full price for it.
That's because most of the 3D stuff going around atm is a gimmick, and it is tacked on, which makes sense because the current style of watching 3D with glasses will (hopefully) be obsolete by the end of next year anyway.
I just feel sorry for all the people that have splashed out the money on this hardware.
@ The Great Melon - you're half right on that. The difference being that 3D enabled tv's will have real 3d projection, none of this glasses c...
While I'm also interested in what's going to happen with this game with Move, those screens don't exactly get the blood racing.
The stupidity of it is, is that 3D gaming in it's current form on the PS3 will be practically obsolete by the end of next year.
Pretty sure that hasn't changed.
I don't see how you can tar an entire community (especially one as big as the PC gaming community, which I would argue is easily larger than any console community) with the same brush, especially when there are a large amount of said community who do everything in their power to get rid of hackers and make gaming experiences as good as possible for other gamers.
As for hackers making a platform less "hardcore", that's just ridiculous. I don't know about ...
Lol @ all the "hardcore gamer" articles lately. Is getting pretty stupid, if it wasn't stupid enough in the beginning.
OT - the only "hardcore" platform is PC and everyone knows it. Building your own system, configuring your own OS, a more diverse range of peripherals that cater to all game and player types, greater configuration of your gaming experience in all aspects, greater range of games etc.
The most "hardcore" gaming ...
I think ME2 went for the more epic Hollywood storytelling angle though.
And tbh, they pulled it off well and I loved it.
Would never buy any audio equipment marketed by a whore.
No, no more freaking zombies.
It very quickly dropped out of the top sellers list on Steam (i.e within a week), and it has been a flop as far as PC player base goes, just check out the steam player stats.

I didn't enjoy the game at all, and while it's a sad day for owners of the console version of the game, I honestly can't say i'm surprised.
Duke Nukem Forever.
As long as the PC version isn't restricted by inferior console hardware i'll be happy. I really can't wait for this, have played through the original so many freaking times.
@ dchalfont - You sir, are a dickhead.
OT - the specs are pretty low really, considering most games these days specify a C2D or equivelant. The difference between a current gen dual core and the old athlon and first batch C2D's is pretty massive.
