I'm not going to comment on the actual reviews, because I had and still have no interest at all in reading them, but I never get why people rage at reviewers including their opinion.
The whole basis for a review is opinion. The actual amount of "factual" stuff that would/could go into a review is incredibly minor, and would result in something that resembles a Lens Of Truth article.
Thank god they didn't go with the American Revolution thing. That would of been terrible.
The ninja thing would be cool - I don't know if they'd be able to do without making it ridiculously cheesy though.
The only reason they sell different games currently is because they're on different platforms and have different catalogues to work with.....If both services were on the same platform, you can be sure that they'd be fighting for rights to release games solely on their stores.
Portal 2 won't have any influence at all, considering we're talking about two very different things here. Sales wise we all know that Portal 2 will do well on the PS3, but drawing a line ...
Playstation Network Store......Look it up.
As Panda said, it won't happen. The only thing you may see is Steam Friends come into play, but there's no way that either console will get a fully fledged Steam client anytime soon.
Hotkeys are hardly a tiny issue lol.
I've never known a red river that is willing to step aside to let others have their fun.
Penis Balls.
I certainly hope so. Crysis 2 has left me a little burned, and the DXHR situation is worrying as well.
Should really include more indie titles in that list. Either way, makes me happy to be able to play games on all platforms. The second half of the year is going to be seriously damaging to my wallet.
From a gaming perspective - most definitely.
From a innovation outside of gaming perspective - definitely not.
I'm not saying MS intended it this way, as they obviously didn't, but Kinect is proving to be much more of a success among modders than gamers, with good reason.
Kinect is obviously not everyone's cup of tea as a gaming peripheral, but has massive potential for other applications.
I honestly don't see how it would be any different to MMO's on consoles. The main gripe with console mmo's is how restrictive the control scheme is to develop a really intricate MMO for - I don't see how the NGP changes this.
I think PC owners are mainly annoyed at the lack of configuration options when the game was released, well that's partly why i'm annoyed in any case. The DX11 implementation is a minor annoyance personally.
I think the game looks ok, but not as good as I was expecting, not as big a leap as Crysis was, and not as impressive as say Metro is right now. When going through some of the interior parts of the game, especially the sewers and subways, it looks like there have b...
Blops isn't dead yet? Damn.
^^ This is still worrying me a little.
It's not really about the two who were charged any more, it's about what Sony have been getting away with during the court case.
@ below - Would you want your information known to a corporation to be used in a court case simply for watching a video or checking out a website which was talking about one of the bigger gaming news events of this generation?
While I don't know if I agree with what Anon are doing right now, I can't deny that they've got guts doing it.
While they may be slightly misguided sometimes, at least they're willing to do what they can to make some of these big corporations watch their backs, and quite frankly we should all be happy with that.
Nobody really polices the big corporations, and as the Geo court case is showing so far, they are being allowed to get away with too...
*indie devs. Sigh.
The screen flickering and motion blur is pissing me off no end. I'm just going to wait for a driver/app update before I bother getting too far into the game.
Alpha Protocol failed because of the huge amount of bugs in the game and the sub-par graphics and AI.
Which sucks because I thought it was a brilliant concept, just poorly executed. Is still somewhat enjoyable, but I think it got the ratings and sales it deserved.
There have been some very weird moves made since the AMD/ATI amalgamation.......this is definitely one of them.
