The people on this site are very direct about what they support. PlayStation being at the top, I’m learning and observing that stadia is probably at the bottom and among the most hated. I’m sure people have their valid reasons, but I tried Stadia this past week and it’s pretty damn good considering I was expecting trash
I agree with you. I’ll admit I was interested in Stadia prior to release but then proceeded to ignore it after all the bad press. I was literally joking about Stadia with my group chat a little over a week ago. But after trying it, the streaming is surprisingly good. I don’t even mind the occasional stutter, since it’s constant state is mostly good. I
I haven’t tried PS Now recently but when I did I was less than impressed. And felt that game streaming was a long way from mainstream. I just tried stadia on a whim after learning of the 2 month pro offer and I’m genuinely surprised. If there’s input lag I don’t notice it at all and latency is way less than I anticipated. I believe my internet is 100-300Mbs and I get a solid image wether I choose 4K, 1080p or 720p as a target.
This afternoon I played Destiny 2 multiplayer o...
If people simply don’t want to buy Xbox that’s fine, personal preference is the most important thing. I’m speaking about the people on this website that will talk down on Xbox everyday of the week, in every Xbox article on here.
I in no way meant to come off as if people who don’t want to buy an Xbox are bad people. Just like how me wanting to pass on PS5 in favor of an Xbox doesn’t make me a bad person. But the disagrees I get will prove my point.
That’s logical but on PlayStation4g, PlayStation wins by default. Do not come to Xbox articles on this website, you will find PlayStation fans in the comments hating instead of playing their super fun PlayStation games
They do a lot right by gamers but selling remasters at every chance isn’t the best for gamers. I’m glad there’s an option on Xbox to put in old discs for supported games instead of just having to buy it again. Other than that you’re correct they have more to prove
As it should be, but the majority on this website simply do not want Xbox to succeed. They have way too much fun bashing anything MS does, maybe even more fun than playing ps4 games who knows.
Xbox could have a flawless gen with Series X and people would still call it trash. Best to just get news from this site and watch the kids bicker back and forth
I want an Xbox because I mostly missed out on 3 generations of Xbox consoles, during which many great games were released. Picking up and playing fusion frenzy is great. Dived into Alan Wake like I’ve always wanted to and it’s even better than I’d hoped. Game pass has allowed me to play many games I’ve wanted to play but wouldn’t have purchased outright. All this with a bright looking future of new first party game studios, and a proper console to show them off.

Repeat after me friend, "It's not 2013."
It's 2020, all signs are pointing to a better generation for Xbox. Phil Spencer said they won't be out of position on power or price. As of yesterday the Xbox Series X is the more powerful console. Yes I know PS5 will be no slouch either, hence why I plan to get both eventually.
Games? Their 16 new studios aren't sitting around making crap
Exactly, I believe Phil said Xbox won't be out of position on power OR price this time around. We've just seen his statement about power hold true. That leaves price
Because the One X was never going to have exclusive games to really take advantage of its hardware. It along with the PS4 Pro were really just the first mid-gen upgrades. It was just the beginning of Xbox re-commitment to bringing real power back to their console and having the best platform for frame rates/resolution.
Also even though the Xbox One X had quite an update to the GPU, it was still paired with the outdated jaguar CPU architecture. The Series X will not only hav...
At all.
Thank you.
The difference is, the xbox one was never going to make some amazing comeback. Too much bad from the very beginning and more lackluster games than solid ones sealed it's fate in that regard. At best MS (Phil and others now fully in charge of the division) could only hope to right the ship as much as possible with hardware revisions, and gamer centric messaging/services.
The beginning of a generation serves as a reset for any console manufacturer. And MS is more poised ...
This. So many on this site act as if Sony or Nintendo have no flaws but microsoft and xbox are the bane of the gaming industry and any effort on their part is a waste doomed to follow the missteps of 2013.
It's just not true, and the crap on xbox narrative is so old and tired.
I see you've discovered the power to see into the future, please share your secrets. Also can you tell us how the games will feel on PS5 and the next nintendo system while you're at it? Thanks Fritz
First you say all we saw is a CGI trailer. Then you say the only game we’ve seen running on it is Hellblade II. Which is it? At least try not to contradict yourself in your comment.
Their track record also includes the Xbox 360, where they created noteworthy and memorable exclusives. They built upon Xbox Live, a model Sony directly copied with PS Plus. Xbox ushered in a lot of the modern console experience that we know today. But barely anyone on this site would ever admit ...
Just commenting to let us know how not bothered you are. ;)
Love to see it.
I hear you man, I’m just saying personally I’m not really noticing lag specifically from button presses. I do notice a slight lag from analog movement, but it’s just that slight. It’s not at all game breaking and not miles away from native play in my opinion though I notice it’s not a perfect 1:1 experience in comparison.
