The Xbox One S and X came out in 2016-2017 respectively. 3-4 years into the generation. Don't make it seem like they were the launch consoles and people still just went with PS4.
Halo's been gone for 5 years. If you're tired of it that's fine but 343i was established to make Halo games. They will keep doing so. Gears 5 was critically well received and said to have been a series revitalization.

None of the Horizon 2 presentation was gameplay. It was a great trailer but not real time, and not in engine. I’m sure the actual game play of Horizon 2 will look phenomenal though.

It was very fun but I couldn't bring myself to complete it. The Mary Jane Missions and Science lab portions I found particularly boring. But playing as Spiderman and traversing the city was a blast.

Capcom has been building a modern formula for resident evil games ever since RE4 taking it away from the destroyed city setting that they'd done to death.
