It allows people to play a game and decide if they will buy it or spend their money elsewhere.
The microstransactions are cosmetic only, and you’ll be able to see exactly what it is before buying anything. Wait with caution is right but they’re also being upfront about what will be for sale in the game
You can play alone, there is a story. It will just be more difficult to tackle by yourself, but if you’re up to that challenge the option is there.

Exactly. The reveal of new consoles and games/services before a new generation is where people will choose what they plan to buy. Even if people already have an idea of what next-gen console they'll buy, as we saw with the reveal of the Xbox One....that can easily change.
To be fair, the PS2 dominated that generation. Following that the Xbox 360 dominated the majority of its generation. You could say it's because of the head start but in the beginning they also had the more robust and complete online service in Xbox Live. Also some of the Xbox brand's most memorable franchises released during that generation and helped to give them an edge.

They have to pay money to those people who’s work that they “trash talk” over. It would be nice if these artists were paid for dances they made popular with their music. You know since EPIC puts that dance in game and slaps a price on it.
Then those games aren’t for you. Moving on.
But this isn't mass effect or dragon age. In those games customizing your physical person makes sense that's who you are. In Anthem that focus is on the javelin.
