Did anyone actually watch the video? I can't believe nobody has mentioned it allows to have relationships...PHYSICAL relationships with other characters, even meaning your female character could get pregnant! This is a risky move, and a very interesting development.
no new details in that article really.
Great video, it's really nice to see the game in action.
It's like flying an old WW2 bomber, not a Jet which goes twice the speed of sound...it just didn't feel thrilling enough, I was quite bored actually, but the GFX are nice.
yeh not a bad deal, an HD cable as well would be better
The rental market is huge, particularly with new companies like LoveFilm and even Blockbusters online rental services (which are both far cheaper than going to a retailer).
I think that digital distribution is the future (and both LoveFIlm and Blockbuster also offer download services), and finally we can see why MS are bringing out a 120Gb Hard Drive. I will certainly use the download service, but imo it won't threaten DVD rentals at all, not unless the 360s install base got i...
This site is full of sony fanboys, it really is horrible to see some of the replies to this topic, please take a balanced and measured approach to your comments, instead of some of the immature replies above, I suspect half of you are 12 year old kids, and if you are not you should be ashamed.
The actual excerpt from CVG reads:
"A source has told CVG that , "Kitaue is constantly trying to force Kojima to drop the game's PS3 exclusivity, which Hideo refu...
I was expecting a balanced review of the different players, but what we go is the usual mass media gibberish.
I think the PS3 obviously has a superior movie player compared with the 360s HD add on, but I would still rater have a 360, I'll buy a standalone HD player when I see which way most of the movie studios are swinging.
This is fantastic news, this period has barely been touched
1% failure rate is good to hear, but it wouldn't persuade me to buy a PS3 over a 360 since at double the price you'd expect it to have better components.
My 360 is noisy, not had any probs with it though, and I am no fanboy since my previous console was a PS2, it just comes down to the games for me, I can't see how Sony are going to catch up on this front.
very scientific test I am sure...er... NOT
I don't understand why people dont get this?
E3 was always meant to be a trade only show, and it turned into a consumer event. All they are doing is taking E3 back to its roots, and E4all in October (or whatever they are calling it) is basically going to be the big bang consumer show we have been used to seeing...
All ths talk of E3 doom is nonsense.
Maybe sony should change their strategy then because not paying for exclusives is obviously a mistake in this generation when development costs are so high.
I just dont think the iPhone is worth that cash, I'd be happy with a seperate mp3 player and phone and it would cost me much less.
this game was so obviously a quick cash in to make some money on off the back of decent WW2 titles...lets prey and hope joe public has sense to stay away.
Thing is the movie tie ins here are actually pretty decent/average games...i.e. they aren't complete crap like they used to be. Shrek 3 isn't very good, but my son (the demograph its aimed at) loves it.
Harry Potter has got some very good reviews, so despite it's movie tie in status, and could be quite fun to play with my son. The CVG reviewer even said the puzzles were quite challenging for him at times!
I'm actually glad a lot of these games are aimed at younger play...
There is no disputing that every one of the 100 games is good in it's own way, but I certainly would have arranged the order differently...I guess everyone has their own favourites though
looks pretty good for an arcade game
Nicole Kidman is gorgeous, I don't see how anyone can dispute that.
She is a huge star, so to see someone with her credentials playing the DS will no doubt eliminate the current barriers females may still have about gaming, and also remove any notion that games are for boys only.
Most console last for 5 YEARS so to imply that the 360 is not sustainable for 10 years is probably correct in many ways. By then we'll have an Xbox 720 or whatever, and the 360 will no doubt be available in an ultra slimline form...we'll also probably see announcements from sony on the PS4.
His pointless crooning about HD-DVD being dead is exactly what you'd expect someone from the Sony PR machine to say, just like you'd expect M$ to say Digital Distribution is the future...wh...
