Its a cracking game, probably the best XBLA game I have got thus far.
The 360 will only stay ahead if it is cheaper, as the playstation brand is too powerful, the average Joe buys the brand and doesn't consider the 360 offers better value for money for gaming (at this point in time).
I prefer the 360 at the moment, but I think by 2010 we'll see the PS3 edge ahead in amount of units sold...I expect to see a price drop and a Halo bundle by xmas.
I think 2008 will be a great year for both consoles.

It's good to see the PS3 doing well, but I think it's only a blip, once the price goes back to normal when the 60Gb version runs out of stock, by then the 360 price may very well be coming down so we'll see some healthy competition.

The Live service is really crap for large multiplayer games, since the avergae persons upload speed is far to low to deal with anymore than 4 players. It's a good move to stay with dedicated servers, games like The Darkness have suffered badly in multiplayer due to the limits of peer to peer tech.
I once had this guy take down his pants with his "member" out and start pleasuring himself. Not only did I report his account to Microsoft I reported him to the police for what is basically sexual harrassment, since then I have been very wary of using Live at all. The guy spoke Italian, so maybe he thinks he is untouchable over the net WRONG, with his acount name given to MS and the police he stands a very good chance of being prosecuted in his own country....if my kid had been in...
M$ need to make some price reductions now, or they risk Sony taking the the lead next year, particularly if Sony reduce their price again at chsitmas.
There are no kids m8, because then you get the possibility of people murdering them which would push the age rating from Mature to AO most likely...I agree though they should feature all ages to make it more believable, and perhaps they could impliment a system similar to Scarface which didn't allow you to shoot "civilians".
I doubt there was any "grudges" with Tretton and Moore, they were friends previously, before Moore worked for MS, business is business.

This is too expensive imo, 360 has been out 2 years now and I think the premium should drop to £200, and the Elite should be under £300, otherwise they have a hard time competing with the playstation brand.

Designing and building games is hugely expensive these days, thus publishers are more tightly in control of the purse strings.
We'll rarely see innovation now, it'll just be small twists of the same formulas. We really need to see narrative drama and intereactive experiences improve beyond, go there and collect that, go there and shoot that before it becomes really emotionally involving.
Group Chat or a chatroom/home style feature would really add to XBL and help people meet new gamers.
A Web Browser would also be handy.

Moore is right, Sony aren't on target, but they are doing better than the 360. I don't know about you lot but I'm not really interested in what is selling in Japan their games market is completely different to US/Europe.
I hate this kind of mud slinging its getting to the stage execs will be saying "my dad is better than your dad, and thus my genes are better and thus we win the console war!"....god help us all!
Yes this may be a great strategy for Sony, but I'm not sure it's a great strategy for the loyal sony gamers, who after all, just want to play games on their favourit system.
A movie download service for the PSP, might actually encourage me to buy one, as at the moment I dont really see the point in the handheld at all.
