I am more the multiplayer guy, but I like some singleplayer experiences here and there as well.
The real problem is that games decided to go either way. There was a time, when games offered great singleplayer and multiplayer experiences. Only one reason, why I love Halo. Great story, great universe and a fantastic multiplayer.
The game looks like a lot of fun IMO
Again, all three are doing just fine. They all sold more than 1.3 million consoles in the US in one month. That is good news for the industry. Period.
Stop this console war bullshit.
All three are doing just fine.
But that is too boring for you guys, isn't it?
Morganfell just got owned.
State of Decay and Ori for me for sure.
Maybe Ashen and Sea of Thieves as well, but time is a very limiting factor for me.
What is G-Sync and why is it so expensive?
What does it offer that makes me want to spend 3times the money a decent 4k TV costs?
Serious questions.
I actually think this sounds cool. I liked Halo 5 and the lootboxes as well.
I still have to use lootboxes worth $40 in Halo and I never spent any real money there. You can easily get this from playing the game.
Yet, it is fun to see what you will get out of these lootboxes.
I was one of those asking why MS paid so much for it.
I was wrong.
I don't know where that shit came from.
What has MS done to think, they are pushing GaaS? GamePass. And GamePass is an awesome value.
What has Sony done?
Releasing their arguably biggest franchise Gran Turismo as an online only game. Imagine MS would have done that with Halo.
Sony was the one buying that streaming service to push PSNOW. An over priced service to pay for your old games to get them running. MS did backward c...
A 25% increase from 58.6 is 73.25
"Back in November 2016, NVIDIA dominated the PC GPU market with a 58.6% share. And now, 84.9% of the survey-takers are using NVIDIA’s GPUs. Basically, we’re looking at a more than 25% increase in a year."
Maths. Not for everyone.
Oh finally some quality content in 2018. Oh wait, just clickbait and trolling covered up in an "article" labelled as opinion.
Red Dead Redemption 2 and FarCry 5 for me.
Other than that way too many Japanese games here for me.
Any numbers for the Xbox One X yet?
And companies that are not in financial trouble would never sue anybody over licensing / patents issues. FACT!
-.-
Oh yeah... That will work. *facepalm*
I agree for the most part, yet you make it sound like PC gaming os bigger than anything else.
Steam had 66 Million active users per month, XBox Live had 57 million active users per month. So yeah, PC gaming is big, but "hundreds of millions" is exaggerated.
According to steam survey, ~15% of these active users have a 1060 or better and 0.42% use 4k as a primary display resolution.
Oh come on, after so many releases one Halo singleplayer campaign was just "average".
That is your argument?
I refuse to believe that God of War will be a better game, because there is no multiplayer.
Did Gran Turismo become a better game with lacking content?
