Let's say next gen starts 2020, it will last 6 years... Who knows what is coming up in 2027 then.
I still think you will need powerful hardware, but streaming all game pass games could be just another option.
I like how the "rumor" that MS acquired Playground Games was shut by N4G and the Mod doing so said it was "speculation", eventhough there is a VERY strong evidence to back it up.
But a prediction without anything to back it up like this one here is totally fine.

I still prefer multiplayer games over single player games. So I hope they continue to push in that direction.
The most successful games today have their main focus on the multiplayer... Fortnite, PUBG, CS GO, Minecraft, League of legends, Dota2, Halo, Call of duty...

Wii music was just embarrassing to watch. And I still think it is remarkable that Nintendo managed to totally scrap the Wii U out of people's heads. When it was introduced, it had failure written all over it and even by those standards it underdelivered. It sold like 1/8 of what the Wii did and got no support at all. Yet, it never appears on these lists...

I think you heard that wrong. It sold 20 million on Xbox One and PS4 combined. Just RETAIL. Digital sales not included, but 40 million might be an educated guess. Plus whatever the PC version sells.

After State of Decay 1 became a hit, MS signed a deal for 2 sequels with them. So I expect them to do State of Decay 3 next. I think MS might finance them very well to get it from AA to AAA. And I mean this only from a budget perspective, I think State of Decay 1 and 2 are fine games by their current standards.
