I think JRPG and WRPGs are different genres. They are so not the same.
Xbox did very well with WRPGs, Oblivion, Fable I - III, Mass Effect, The Witcher 2 were all somehow exclusive (timed, console or full) to the Xbox brand.
JRPGs... well couldn't care less. Not my cup of tea at all.
Can somebody show me a laptop for up to 800€ that is good for gaming?
I have no idea when it comes to laptops.
Thank you!
"PSVR alone will sell more than that in that same time frame, since even before the very slow quarter of July-September, they shipped 500,000 units."
That is pure Bullshit btw.
PSVR released in October 2016 and sold 1 million units in June 2017. So, 8 months till 1 million.
Xbox One is expected to sell that in 2 months. And you think PSVR will top all ther sales from 8 months in the next 2 months?
not gonna happen. ...
And here comes the SDF!
Todays argument: Sales.
"PS4 pro games stillto be matched in visuals even from PC elitists"
Not sure if serious.
Never forget that Sony started hiding hardware numbers for the PS3. Facts.
And lol @ the guy who claimed this was a response to Sony. Yeah, Microsoft cooperation totally plan their annual shareholder meetings in a response to Sony... Damn, some people...
That is why you guys didn't buy the pro. Now I get it. Thanks mate!
I will bet, that all three are laughing all the way to the bank while people on N4G argue back and forth
60% on PC --> 40% on Xbox One.
1,000,000 on PC --> around ~665k on Xbox One.
Maths!
Halo 5 multiplayer is the best in the series. Period.
Oh, come on!
Gaming journalism is at an alltime low.
"The major retailer is offering the console at £429.99 which is a £30 drop in price as a special deal for Black Friday 2017."
The Xbox One X is £449! You do the maths.
So, you guys really think that Microsoft paid "Sports Illustrated" to promote their console?
They still look worse. Period.
Some people will still complain and call it "games as a service" and there fore hate it.
"Ultimately, I can't help but feel like this is the console Microsoft should have released to begin with rather than the under-powered machine that came out in 2013."
Yeah and the SNES should have had a BluRay-drive built in, or at least a HDD for proper Netflix streaming...
As if a 12 GB RAM, 6 TFlops GPU, UHD BluRay was realistic in 2013.
Nope, I doubt it.
"Microsoft also announced today that gamers in the United States spend more time with Xbox Live entertainment applications than they do playing multiplayer games over the service."
That was 5 years ago. And when you see how Netflix, Amazon and Twitch blew up since then, I doubt the tables have turned.
When you see the statistics about console usage, it makes sense to go after the media / entertainment crowd.
I will bet my left arm, that TV / Netflix / Amazon / Twitch / Youtube or whatever are responsible for about 50% of the time a console is used.
The point is, that these services already exist. There was no point in offering more content and produce it yourself, with quite high costs that go with it.
The better way would be to ta...
No, it doesn't.
I LOVED my DreamCast, but playing online on Xbox Live was so much better. You can't compare it.
"hundreds of gamers"
So... about 500k worldwide sold... let's say 900 complaining... That is 0.18% failure rate!
MOST RELIABLE CONSOLE EVER IS CONFIRMED!!!111
Thank you for clearing that up.
I think RDR 2 will be the best looking game in 2018. And it will look best on Xbox One X.
The real question is:
Will the PS4 ever get a 4k / 60 FPS game looking as good as Forza?
I don't think any Playstation gamer will get such a game before 2020 when PS5 launches.
