Skyrim needs a video card with 512 MB, 2GB System RAM and a Dual Core 2.0GHz processor. That is the minimum.
recommended is 4GB System RAM, video card with 1GB and Quad-core processor. That was not available for $299 in 2005. Simple as that and please don't fool yourself.

When PS4 and Xbox 3 launches we should do a comparison. Buy/Build a PC for the price of the console and let's see which lasts longer.

Yeah everyone went crazy about this PS Move controller and all the developers wanted to support it from the very first minute... So 18 months after the release we might see the first move only game worth mentioning.
They opened 4 new studios an bought Twisted Pixel in 2011. 2013 / 2014 will be quite gigantic for the Xbox 3. :-)

you can stream your PC stuff to the Xbox 360 since 2008 I guess. So yeah... other consoles can use letmewatchthis.ch as well, streaming from PC probably works better, because of the shitty browser in the PS3.

The way XBL works is just smooth and it really feels like coming from one source. The way they integrated the Apps is not like on other devices it fits to the dashboard and the overall experience even though the apps are not coming from MS themselves.

I only have the Xbox because it is all I need. There is nothing on the PS3 that made me think about getting one.
I love Halo, Gears, Alan Wake, Fable, Forza, Splinter Cell and... wait for it.... Kinect! I do have a BluRay Player, so why should I buy a PS3 with bad ports and inferior online service. Mediocre exclusives don't do the trick.

People pay for stuff they think it is worth it. So XBL is worth it.
I played on every service you can think of. Xbox Live, PSN, Steam, Battle.net, SegaNet and XBL is by far... REALLY FAR the best service on the market. I am a gold member for 8 years now and I never even thought about it not being worth it.

XBL revenue is that high, because people think it is worth it.
