Now just a price and more exclusive games might win people over. Old games are gonna do anything to sell it.
But they are all multi platform
You didn't say for free and yes it is. Playing older games in that console series on a newer console, nobody defined how you had to get the game.
And if you wanna be technical, BC on Xbox one isn't free either. Only difference between that and PS Now is that with Xbox you only buy one game at a time for variable prices compared to a set price for almost 500 games.
There's gonna be 100 games that interchange from time to time but some of the announced games are ones people have or they've given away at least once. I imagine there is not gonna be many big budget games on there that they haven't given for free yet.
@JasonKCK
That's why I said "free". The service is only technically free if you own the game, which guy in the main comment did not. Doesn't help that most games on BC are games not wanted or games nobody had to begin with. So spend money on old games to play for "free" on a newer console.
Also why BC is only a technical "user based subscription service", if you actually think about it. You are literally (main comment...
If you don't have any games, sure?
Where in that comment did I tell you what to do with your money? I don't care if you buy 10 copies of the game, or not at all. I just gave an opinion based on the length of the game, it's age, the price on other platforms so you can spend less money if any at all, and the fact that nobody asked for this remaster. A vast majority of gamers, along with myself, can probably agree that this remaster is not worth $60.
And the game is 6-7/10 at best.
Started in mid 2010. Almost 3.5 years before PS4 release.
@JasonKCK
Clearly not if he had to spend $13 to use BC. That's the downside of having BC. You have to buy the games if you don't already have them. The service is "free" but the games are not. That guy spending $13 on one game that might take a week or two to beat on Xbox depending on his play style compared to almost 500 games for one month for $7 more.
But people only think, "Oh damn. BC on Xbox one that I can play my old games on?" Bu...
Was it underrated? I also got it for $5 but that wasn't til like 2 years after it released.
Almost 500 tbh.
BC thru streaming exists on PS4
@JasonKCK
"Free"
The one game that doesn't look like it should of been on xbox one got cancelled. Xbox needed this game:
Not when you can get it for next to nothing on any other platform. If it was $20-$30 maybe. Maybe even $40 might be doable but not $60 for a 6 year old game.
Not unless these games are cheaper than they have been. If I would have to get only digital games there better be some type of sale every week and games be cheaper than the normal.
Do you? Statement you "quoted" is fact, not argument needed lol. To have BC on that game, you need to already own it or buy it. Don't have it, no BC until you spend money to get it.
@HumanAfterAll
You do realize you have to pay for the games on BC if you don't have it right? You also realize it would cost more overall if you don't own a lot of those compared to ps now right?
Microsoft having BC only shows their excuse for having a lack of console exclusive games.
Well....
Set a reasonable price and come out with more exclusives. Doesn't matter if there's more power to use if there isn't any different games on it.
