Smartphone's main focus isn't gaming though. There's a difference in mobile gaming and handheld gaming.
When they got the handheld monopoly, why not? Sony tried and succeeded with the PSP as competition but failed with the Vita, maybe somebody else will try their hand.

Microsofts screw up not Platinum's. Scalebound would of been the test game for current gen Japanese games on Xbox but they messed up all hopes of that by cancelling it.
Same reason why Bayonetta 2 was only on Wii U. Because Nintendo offered to help fund it.
Recent popularity doesn't necessarily mean recently released. There's tons of ww2 games on Pc and console that are popular, I just named the ones that have released recently.

Well firstly, Battlefield 1 as its biggest competition, War Thunder, Wolfenstein, Sniper Elite, and the fact that the other Call of Dutys placed in the past are a bigger seller than future or modern ones.

Well the answer is obvious. It wasn't good to what most people who like the series wanted and because it was a timed exclusive. You can't really say it wouldn't have sold more if it was only on PS4 or timed exclusive on PS4.

Every single post you only name State of Decay (a sequel), Crackdown 3 (announced years ago), and Sea of Thieves (a wild card that might not succeed). People preferred PS4 to One because of the catalog of IPs under Sony from PS3 that would eventually come to PS4 nd the obvious popularity over Xbox.

New IP that really is half/half on whether it will survive, a sequel to an zombie survival game, and a game that got announced 2+ years ago. Whatever they announce at e3 probably wont even come out til next year or the year after if at all.
