Crackdown 3 is a shooter, as sunset overdrive with a mix of 3rd person action, and state of decay is a survival game. Why do you keep saying the same 3 games in every post? Especially with one of them people are not even sure is coming out anytime soon.
Only one of those is a new IP.
2 of those were teased 2 years ago with one not being talked about at all recently and the other last year. They didn't spill anything. Sad you can only tell 3 games, Microsoft is not good with surprises.
Digital foundry said themselves that the Scorpio tech is built that it could potentially fix any game that doesn't run at 60fps/4K. Why lie?
Didn't say there wouldn't be, just going according to his down votes lol.
I guess people only need Halo, Gears, and Forza.
That shouldn't always be the case though. I shouldn't have to wait til every fall to see the big games come out, it shortens the life of every game when they release them so close together instead of through the year. Give a teaser or 2 to get people talking about games, not consoles.
I wonder if Scorpio could fix the mess that is APB Reloaded. If it completely fixes the worst optimized game this gen, I'd but amazed. Until then, only showing one game that was completely built for Xbox, im not sold.
And have yet to show a price or any more games. Power is nice but how nice is it without any different games? Games are the main reason to even look at the Scorpio, yet they don't show/announce any.
"Diverse"
I mean......you could say that about a good chunk of the games being released in the last few years.
Crackdown is the only one that would interest me in that list, so point not proven?
@Crotaa
It's those plus the exclusives that drive the console. Why spend more for less options?
Weren't both these free awhile ago?
I guess people like spending a lot of money when they don't have to and playing the same games.
Then why not get a good PC and play them if anything. Slightly better multi platform games and hardly any worth while exclusives doesn't make the Scorpio sound like it's worth getting. Microsoft needs to branch out with software instead of hardware, the Scorpio will make or break them on the gaming side of business. And with not many exclusives, it might be the latter.
Main focus should be games. Whole reason for that comment is why get it if you can play the exa...
That's exactly what console exclusive is. But if people can get it on PC, and the already have a good enough PC comparably, that's a loss on a sale of the console itself if they didn't have it. I believe that's the whole argument around the Scorpio.
That would probably be the downfall of whatever side does that. Partly exclusive rights to slightly look better on this console. Literally throwing money at the developer to have hope that people buy your console because it looks barely better than the same game on a another. Sad I could see Microsoft doing this.
No reason to get a Scorpio if you can only play some of the same games just slightly better. Exclusive games are needed to justify on buying it.
See you say that but the cloud didn't help the xbone or the S. And it remains to be seen if the multiplats run better if all they have shown is a "port" of a 2 year old game running on new hardware. Who cares if it's more powerful if it has less games than every other platform?
