They better not be charging $399 for it. I mean, come on--you can't charge that for a handheld. You just can't. It's suicide. It's bad enough the 3DS was $250 as it stands. The most I will pay for my NGP is $350. That plus my 6% tax is my cutoff.
Andy stole the words right from my mouth.
Not true. There's a slider HOLD on the right hand bottom side. Had there not been one, yeah, it would have been a total pain in the ass to do MP3 on the go.
Apple's okay, but I'm not in "love" with their stuff like the loyalists. I have no use for an Ipad or most of the game catalog.
Angry Birds was one of the only games that really interested me, and I've already got that on my PSP.
I'm actually playing 9 right now and LOVE IT.
You can get a used one for $100-110. WTF has everyone been waiting for? It's great! And once NGP comes out, my Go will become my main MP3 player.
Pachter has always failed to show true insight in the gaming industry. He's a moron, plain and simple.
Already have a white one and I love it. It will make for a great MP3 player once the NGP is in my hands. :o)
PATA PATA PATA PON! (Thump thump thump thump!)
Had never seen that video before. HOW ON EARTH did they never use this? It's brilliant!
Wind Waker was better. If you need proof, it got more PERFECT scores. Don't get me wrong, RE4 was, and is, a great game, but calling it the best Gamecube game ever is up for debate.
Game Informer, if I'm not mistaken, gave it a 6.75.
Why the disagrees? I think he's spot on. I've asked around about service providers and nobody knows anything yet. 250 for the Wi-Fi only seems like a great price and 350 for the Wi-Fi and 3G model seems fair.
But again, if you disagree, explain why. Don't just hide and be a disagree fairy.
You can't spell ignorant without IGN.
Q Entertainment's Twitter feed explains why the game isn't available on the PlayStation Network Store — and in turn, the digital download only PSPgo.
"We would love to bring Lumines/Lumines II to the PSN store," the Q Entertainment Twitter reads, "but there are complications, music licensing, was published by Namco, etc." That was followed up with a: "That said, we're obviously looking into it."
I have the American PS...
Speaking of awesome puzzlers, Lumines was an amazing game too. Upsetting that it's not on the PSN.
Think about it though. IF Sony pulled it off, it would put even more of a chokehold on the market, stopping sales of the 3DS. From a marketing perspective, it wouldn't be a stupid thing.
But all in all, good April Fool's joke.
Sure the NGP is better than the 3DS. I'll agree to that any day of the week. But here's the kicker. Sony should take a small loss on the handheld so that they can stop people from buying the 3DS. With Kaz, they're going in a different direction and they want this device to succeed, knowing how horribly the PSP Go failed to please the general consumer base.
The NGP HAS TO Work. And Sony should be committed to seeing it flourish.
Edit: Don't even ...
I hate these articles. I'll have $200 on it before summer hits.
NGP DAY ONE.
I just got a Big Mac. Throw some cheese on that bitch!
