I've got almost $150 on mine now. But I'm not going to be happy if the base model is $399.
To FatalBlow (below, #24) Sony has only said that they would FOR SURE release it this year in ONE territory. This would be Japan. If possible, the U.S. would be next, hopefully between Thanksgiving and Christmas 2011.
Europe would likely see NGP March of 2012. BUT----if it's region free, you could very well buy one once the Japan handheld hits.
I guarantee you we will have the SKUs and the pricing of the NGP by E3.

Once I heard about RROD, I promised myself I would only have one issue with it on my 360. The day it died on me, I sent it in for repair and once I got it back, I traded it in for my PS3.

Joe, I would NEVER pay $300-$500 for a one day sporting event. I wouldn't. I won't slam those that do, but it's like Sport games in general--I don't care for them.

I just stumbled across a story that talked about the NGP not coming out this year (other than Japan) due to the earthquake. Here's the link. Ugh. I'm bummed. If this is true, Sony will continue to struggle against the 3DS and lose a LOT of marketshare. I'm not happy about this.
