I can almost GUARANTEE that NGP WILL NOT be cheaper than a 3DS.
But NGP is what I want.
I think the NGP stands A GREAT chance against the competition. The only thing it hinges on in my opinion is the price point. It needs to succeed and it needs to be realistic.
$250 for the Wi-Fi model
and $300-$320 for the 3G model
Don't forget about that stupid fossil Lieberman.
But yeah, Blaine, the Go is an awesome device other than the noticeable lack of library on the unit. I even take mine to work and listen to MP3s on it.
I've got the white one too, and if Sony comes out with two color models for the NGP, I'm torn on which one to get. The black looks good, but gives it more of a look the standard PSP had.
I kind of like the white one. What about you guys?
PLEASE BE A DOWNLOADABLE GAME for my PSP Go! :o) Or a physical game for my NGP. Which ever!
I truly hope that they are able to host the show on schedule without any major issues. It will help bring the money in, which will likely be used to repair some of the damage and chaos from the disasters suffered lately. This is a good way to bring in much needed finances.
You gave your best to me during my childhood years, Tokyo. I now give you my best to turn this nightmare around.
I used to have it back when I had my PSP-1000. It was a great game. A little weird getting used to the setup, of course, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. If I'm not mistaken, it's only on UMD. I really wish more of the Playstation catalog was on the PSN for my PSP Go.
:o( That's the biggest downer for me. I got my new PSP GO on the 11th of Feb and wanted to buy the old game "Infected."
Nope. Can't. There's a lot of games NOT availab...
Can't wait to see a copy of Little Big Planet on my NGP once it drops. CAN'T WAIT! And wish I had money for this, too!
I hate to say it, but I don't get the feeling Sony is going to wait until E3 with the pricing. We all know that they were watching Nintendo's launch of the 3DS and will continue to monitor the numbers.
NGP NEEDS to be an immediate success. It will be a good price. I'm guessing 50$ more. $300 is my NGP guess for at least the Wi-fi model. Maybe $329 for the 3G, plus contract.
Barb, the sad truth is that Microsoft didn't bank on being in for the long haul when they created the 360.
And the only reason I say that is because the DVD format is crippling in regard to video games on a modern home console.
They need to go to at least potential 30-50GB games for the next gen. AT LEAST.
Usually I don't play role of attacking those that don't make sense, but I have to ask.
Doesn't 1gb of extra storage...
Doesn't what? Your comment makes no sense.
PSP has a whole catalog of great PS1 RPGs going for it, though. I will definitely be satisfied until NGP comes out.
Microsoft...Just make a new system and use Blu-Ray.
Suck it up.
Don't do anything more to kill your current install base.
You gave me Red Ring once.
I, for one am not trusting you again.
I hope that was sarcasm in your post. SOLE Digital Distribution is NOT going to be realistic until another 10 years when we have the infrastructure to support it. Downloading a 12 GB game?
Have fun with that.
Ya know...once it finishes downloading.
Classic. I miss that movie.
RARE is just a bunch of nothing now. RARE was essentially bought by Microsoft to be destroyed. That's the way it looks to me, at least.
Troll: "Why would someone buy it just to do nothing with it?"
Answer: To destroy that slice of the market share.
THAT GAME LOOKS CERTIFIED BAD-ASS! I WOULD TOTALLY GET A 3DS FOR THIS! :o)
True---but G.I. already dropped their magazine with the parodies just weeks ago. Hopefully, this is not an April Fool's joke.
But good call. Eyes and ears are open!
NGP will be awesome. Wait and see.
I'll be doing my NGP unboxing on Youtube the day it comes out.
Mark my words.
