Watching this actually has me somewhat excited. Do people forget that it said “Alpha Ganeplay”? It looks good for an alpha and it’s only going to get better by the time it comes out. It felt very Star Wars and as a huge Star Wars fan I saw a character that made me excited. And quite honestly I’m tired and worn out from open world games. I need a good linear story driven game and this looks to fill that void until I get DS or LoUP2

No name name bloggers from who gives a sh*t websites need to stop pushing this narrative. No one has asked for an easy mode on any of FromSoftwears from what I remember. They put out one of their easier games in comparison and all of a sudden people need hand holding? Shut the front door.
It isn’t that great, it’s broken and it’s a mess of a game.
My friends console bricked. We were all playing anthem and he crashed and no his console no longer turns on. We all immediately stopped playing. Still waiting to hear what is happening with his console.
I experienced bot extreme fog in the beta as well as lightning/thunder storms. Both of which obstructed my vision as well as the AIs which I thought was super cool. Thunderstorm were also very loud, I don’t remember getting into engagements during a storm so I can’t say for sure if the noise of an engament would be covered up by it.
My apologies sir haha, my mind always works in fiscal months, but that’s just the business. I can’t say much on Days Gone because I’ve had no hands on time but I am friends with the PlayStation Rep in my territory and he was at a Rep conference in Vegas like late summer. He did get hands on time and said it would be a game to watch out for. So I hope he’s right!

That would actually be Q3 if it was in Oct, Nov or Dec. A lot of big games are coming out Q4 this year which is why Days Gone was moved the Q1 of 2019. Historically Sony has dropped a big game in Q4 (God of War, Horizon) to have astrong showing at the end of the fiscal year. Seems some of the other publishers have caught on and I assume Sony isn’t too worried about not having a strong final quarter of 2018 with Anthem and Divison 2 coming out. MAULxx is right. It’s impressive that XBox can add Dolby Vision support for streaming but to be able to do it for 4K UHD would require licensing and the Dolby Vision chipset. But guaranteed this is a huge step for getting Dolby Vision in the next Xbox.
Wish my PS4 Pro would add this support!
V is my second favourite MGS game behind 3. Best gameplay by far, just had to many threads left open to force a sequel, which was unfortunately a decision made by Konami and not Kojima.
I was under the impression the only reason PUBG wasn’t on PS4 was because Sony didn’t want a game in Alpha on the system.
I’m pretty sure once final release happens on PUBG which looks to be soon will be a timed exclusive and eventually release on PS4.
Microsoft paid for marketing rights to jump on the popularity wave PUBG had been under at the time.

2019 isn’t all that far fetched. PS3 to PS4 was 7 years and the consensus was that that felt just a bit to long. PS5 in 2019 would be 6 years, so I’d expect a tease at PSX ‘18, reveal E3 2019 with a fall 2019 release.
I would also expect some of the big up and coming games to get a simultaneous release on both PS4 & PS5 (Death Steanding, Last of Us 2, Days Gone)

The combat looked like GoW combat which I think we can all agree was really good but this has obviously some different elements. The linear adventure parts looked like Tomb Raider.
At the end of the day Star Wars is all about adventure and exploring and cool space battles.
