It's different. Not in a bad way. Hunter's feel familiar but very much need teamwork. Monster's feel fresh although I am not very good.
Game is fun to play with friends and even when solo playing as monster was fun. Had my heart beating out of my chest a few times which doesn't really happen to me.
I was suprised how balanced it felt, but skill can tip it drastically. Worth the try.
I remember when review scores were the average of 5 scores for Gameplay, Controls, Visuals, Sound, and Replability.
Those were the good old days when you knew what a number meant.

Sony only needs to get out of one major area now and thats mobile phones. They keep making stupid exclusive deals with the worst possible providers and then the units never sell. Its cost them over a billion this fiscal year.
Reason this is only in the US and not in Canada at least as far as NA is concerned is because we had a bit of an economic shift as the american dollar strengthened against ours.
Cost of games and controllers and add ons went up. The PS4 went from 399 to 449.
The xbox one stayed the same price. Microsoft was having so much bad PR that they decided not to raise the cost in Canada.
MS has been taking about a 50$ loss in Canada for close to a yea...
You know what the best thing about MGS5 is?
That they have never said it will release on this day only to delay it.

As someone who makes a living selling tvs, Sony's are the best tvs this year in quality, price and value between samsung sony and lg.
In canada a series 7 samsung flat panel 4k 55 was 1699 and the sony x830 4k 55 was 1699 as well. Both very good tvs but the samsung does not play 4k through netflix or any other app...
What MS has done this holiday season will have both positive and negative effects.
We have already seen the positive and it's fully warrented.
Having worked in sales and buisness a long time I know a little bit about the negative that MS might come up against.
In electronis there are 2 ways to look at how you sell. You can sell for market share at the sacrafice of margins/profit or sell for profit and margins at the cost of market share....
It does suck that it happened, but at least some good is coming out of all of it. Just not from Driveclub, but all the games, across multiple platforms releasing broken. It's not like a one time thing and it gets forgotten. There has been enough garbage and controversy for it to stick this year.
Already seeing a lot of high profile games being pushed back and they should be better for it.

Why would I pay a monthly fee to EA on a ps4 when there is still exclusive content to certian platforms. Sony was right to not allow it.
You want to do a service like EA Access, stop with the platform exclusive content on both sides.

In Canada at least Walmart is selling the last of us ps4 with a free copy of COD AW and best buy is selling the destiny bundle with any game past present or future release.
Im sure sony has plans in the US as well. Thought amazon was lowering all PS4s by 50.
This game will be a commercial success. The hate alone will sell this game. It might be negative but this game is being seen by everyone because of the attention.
