I did, damn near everyone I know does. If you owned a PS2 and now have a 360, consider that a conversion. It might be due to lack of brand loyalty or they were convinced that the 360 is better than the PS3, or hell you just want to play games, but it's a conversion none the less.
But in my list, the 360 was actually supposed to be the Panasonic 3DO, oh yes! I was hardcore then rockin Twisted! and Demolition Man exclusivity!

You know, there's one thing I'm learning here, is that you can't show someone what's in front of them with their eyes closed, that goes for both Sony's and Microsoft's cabbage patch kiddies.
No matter how you look at it, both consoles are doing extremely well. Microsoft's goal is to buy up Sony's old franchises and turn PS2 owners to 360 owners, and they are successful in converting. They are also trying to establish a name for themselves and they have exceeded last Generation in...
I know a couple people myself who have bought new consoles after their's RRoD'ed. Especially during the period just before M$ extended the warranty. The thing is, these 2nd consoles ended up being sold off to a friend or given to a brother or other family member. I for one do not underestimate the mind of a hardcore gamer. Imagine how many people bought 360's when they finally got Halo and their console RRoD'ed, you think they would wait 2 weeks for theirs to come back while all of their H2 b...

I see what you two are saying. I play a lot of RPGs and once you've gotten a lot of experience in something, it's hard to remember what it was like when you didn't.

an Internet connection from your ISP would be the "gas", the console would be the "car" so what are YOU really paying for?
Xbox is more like paying the manufacturer cash everytime you want to start the car. You pay by the month or year for someone to send a signal to your ignition to work when you turn the key.
The site can only get better when rabid fanboy trolls from both Microsoft and Sony are away from the Gamer Zone where an actual discussion and comments can take place instead of watching a bunch of 3 year olds argue over each other's tonka trucks.

If there was any other theme for CoD5 I would put on my "hmmmm" hat. Until then, it will not interest me in the shooter department because Gears, Resistance, FarCry........hell even Bioshock has garnished my attention a lot more.
Plus I'll still be busy working on Fable 2, getting GTAIV trophies and the many, many, MANY other great games coming out this holiday. HELLO GOOZEX!

most RPGs (especially the Final Fantasy Series) have always had the "do all your sidequests and whatever else before you enter that area" and once you enter, you have no access back out to do anything but beat the game.
That's how it works with most of them. Veteran RPG'ers should always know to keep multiple saves (although that bit me in the ass on Uncharted trophies bleh)

Your logic is stupid. It makes absolutely no sense for anyone to buy a game and play it for fun. Your supposed to buy games and review it pixel by pixel and pause and pay extra close attention to every single minute detail and NOT enjoy the thing.
Then spend the remainder of your free time scowling the interwebs looking for people who disagree with your forced-fact opinion and troll anyone who thinks otherwise.
