If they did this last gen, then people -should- have been just as outraged on the xbox as well.

That's the thing, people have been throwing the term casual and hardcore gaming or hell, even calling themselves "gamers" is now taken with a grain of salt. These "gamers" now a days are all behind the scene stock brokers, investors and public relation professionals.

While I agree with most of your comment, PS3 fanboys, looks like Microsoft is moving in for the fatality!
But to say that PS3 will -never- beat the 360 in sales is a fanboy comment and frankly its absurd to be so final when anything could happen.
For me, I think Microsoft is going for the kill, and at the same time, should they continue to drop the prices to the PS2 price point, all that means is it's time for the new cons...
With "gamers" all trying to be stock brokers and certified journalists, I think the days are gone for people who play games to compete/enjoy/escape reality.
That is unless you're a Wii gamer, those old and young'ns are loving every casual minute.
For you to think that there isn't some kind of behind close door happenings with reviews nowadays (especially since by this particular post and thread showing reviews mean everything) then you are a few cents short of a dollar.

The problem with this (I believe I've said it with a similar valve issue) If PS3 owners show their disdain for the company for not receiving full support, all that will show them is "Hey, we've sold 3m copies on the xbox and 500k on the PS3, looks like we make more money on the box so our next game is exclusive"
If you guys really want full support on a system, the objective should be buy the game, if more people support on the PS3 over xbox then the companies will supp...

The thing is Slim, Sony, in the past 3 generations haven't ever been in this much of tough spot. At this point anything is possible because times have changes, Sony has had to bust their ass just to turn a profit and they've already accumulated a deficit larger than the past generation's profit at almost 2 years of the PS3.
