The game has the writing and directing talents of Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro, as well as the acting talents of Mads Mckellsen and Norman Reedus. Highly unlikely the game is going to be bad lol
Kind of a shame, really. The game showed so much potential at first. They should’ve never listened to the casuals and kids who wanted instant gratification...

Likely never even played it. Probably heard PS4 exclusive and started claiming it was a single player linear cutscene QTE fest, while claiming Titanfall was the greatest game of all time.
He literally said the same thing last year, and all they showed were indies, multiplats, and timed console “exclusives”.
To be fair, Uncharted 4 multiplayer had them, but everything that was an MT could be earned through just playing the game. Nothing was locked to a paywall. I see no reason why this game would, considering it doesn’t have multiplayer and Sony is pretty adamant about not including MT’s in their single player titles.
Have you not seen the trailers where Kratos is literally fighting a dozen enemies at a time, and juggling several with his axe swings? Haters keep claiming there hasn’t been much shown and that it looks slow, but we’ve seen plenty enough to know that it’s anything but slow.
People are only calling it that because apparantly TLoU invented great story telling and third person gameplay, and having a great story has become a negative for some reason. I guess every game has to be a mindless dudebro multiplayer fragfest to these people, because screw genre diversity. /s
Won’t know 100% until we have the games in our hands, but I think it’ll be neither. “ For the better” suggests the previous formula was bad, which it clearly wasn’t. I don’t think it can be for the worse because the new game looks excellent. I think both formulas are great, and I trust the studio to make an excellent game regardless.

Because they’re still stuck in 2004. Switch has had some great games, but a device as insignificant as the Vita destroyed it in built in features.
