That’s why Playstation is, and always will me, my primary hub for gaming. Sony more than proved themselves with PS3. Both MS and Nintendo would’ve abandoned that in a heartbeat.
Maybe later in the gen, but not at first, that’s for damn sure. Earlier on though, Outside a few titles, most of the PS3 exclusives sucked, and god forbid you played multiplats on it. PS4 has done a lot more right
Gaming Laptop + PS4 Pro + Switch. The perfect gaming combo. Hell, it’s perfect if I don’t include the Switch. Xbox has become completely redundant.
I’ll take the gaming laptop because I can play PC’s exclusives, and all of Xbox’s exclusives. The Xbone S is worthless to me. Haven’t even plugged it in since November 2016.
@BlueFox That’s true, and I’m aware, but my current line of work is likely going to have me moving around quite a bit, so a decent gaming laptop would be extremely beneficial. Been looking at an ASUS that’s a bit pricey, but it has a GTX 1080 and 16 GB of DDR5X RAM. Sounds like itll hold up for a bit. ...

Do you understand what that statement means? It means Sony is aware that new sales of PS4 hardware will be on the decline, so they will be making less money on that front. The majority of system profits from here on out will be through software and service sales to people who already own system/ will be buying it in the near future. It’s got nothing to do with eliminating hardware/ and going “full MS” as you suggested.

Not really. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed BF games in the past, and went as far as to even platinum BF1. The game just sucks.
Seems likely. There’s a lot Sony can do to celebrate PS’s 25th anniversary next year. Announcing new hardware doesn’t need to be one of them.

God of War was a beautiful looking game, no doubt. We’re just looking forward to this as well because it’s the next time we’ll see Decima in action since HZD.
I’m only slightly concerned because I’ve seen Kojima throw around the word “trailer” a lot. ND is crystal clear that we’re getting TLoU2 gameplay; maybe Kojima is just trying to not spoil the surprise.
Please, let it be actual gameplay at E3. I really want to see this game in action, and another vague cinematic would make it feel like we’re just getting trolled at this point lol
I’m all about the WW2 setting, so long as it doesn’t suck as much as BF1 did.
They’ve been doing just fine for almost 25 years. What makes you think things are going to change? Sorry to burst your bubble, but Switch isn’t some messiah gaming device that everyone needs to get on board with or they’ll somehow die. Nintendo needs third party waaaay more than vice versa.
If this game manages to be 90+ on metacritic, that’s going to be awesome, and hilarious for the PS4 haters lol

In all fairness, Sony was seeing some serious fininancial troubles long before PS3. Even with PS2’s success, they were having a lot of trouble with their other divisions. Overall now though, they seem to be healthy and growing. It’d be interesting if they can become the $200 Billion giant they used to be.
