Next generation? I'm sorry but I'll heavily disagree. Halo is more "me to" FPSing with solid online and a few great ideas like video recording, which SHOULD be included in all games I'll admit.
But if the "next generation" is the same as Halo 3, IE more of the same... no thanks. Been there, done that.
It seems most people would rather spend time here validating their purchases instead of actually playing them.

Yeah it does. Truth like you can scrutinize any title if you really wanted to. For example, Halo 3 is the most mediocre pile of crap, derivative in both gameplay and art style FPS I have ever played in my life.
Gears of War? Innovative? More like Winback/Kill.Switch 2.0.
GTAIV? Psh, way to strip 90% of the good stuff and give me the same "go here, steal car" mission. Whatever happened to San Andreas, you know, the GOOD GTA?

If anyone is to blame, its Sony for not putting out ENOUGH 80gb models. I think they heavily underestimated potential sales, and they would be smart to really up the shipments.

My biggest issue with the game? Body damage is useless. It's a matter of "headshots or gtfo" and frankly, that's just not fun for me. If they upped the body damage, or dropped headshots, I think it could be an amazing online experience. As it stands, no thanks.

GH4 has Everlong on it. That's an insta-sale for me, especially if Rock Band and EA are going to play goddamn games with us.

I work at Gamestop. We sell both traded in consoles, aka USED 360s without an HDD, for $220, as well as now the $300 REFURBISHED VIA MS consoles. It's the Pro model, but it lacks the Free Live Month I believe, everything else is in there. The box is clearly marked refurb. We've had them for at least 3 weeks now, mixed in with the normal units.
Remember, it was Gears of War that created Stop and Pop action. It was NOT, repeat, NOT Kill.Switch or Winback, which both predated GeoW by a few years <_<

MGS is what it is. You either like it, or you don't. I'm a huge, huge fan, but I'll be the first to say its an acquired taste. But man, why are the haters always the most vocal ones? No game is perfect, bashing MGS4 is okay, but if you say a word against the step back GTA4 took or the running in place the Halo franchise does its trolling?

Reviews are opinions. When did we start having places call out other reviewers on their opinions? I should ask why GTA recieved any perfect 10s, considering how much was stripped from past GTA experiences. I should also ask why Halo 3 recieved perfect 10s, considering it was 90% rehash and lacking compared to other FPS titles in many ways.
