The overtly obvious headshot balance issues turned me off to this game right quick sadly. Unless they fix weapon balancing or turn off headshots, I'll stick with CoD4.
Conversely, I love the BS excuse of "the controls don't suck, you do."
Bad controls are bad controls. There's a difference between intuitive design and crappy design. I applaud them for trying something new.

Hell, MS is doing a great job taking care of fanbases of rival consoles as well, as long as they own a PC. I love playing Xbox 360 exclusives without actually needing to waste the money on an actual Xbox 360 console.

On a serious note, game development is getting more and more expensive,and it just makes good business sense to put the game on all consoles possible. The issue is when it compromises QUALITY in the name of PROFIT. If a game can be done well on both (DMC, CoD, Burnout) then go for it, let more GAMERS enjoy it!

Personally, I think third party exclusives should die. Companies like Capcom, Square, Epic, etc should make their games for all platforms, as long as they put actual effort in to appease gamers and don't give us another PS3 Orange Box.
And yes, this is why first party titles are important in this day and age. MS buying Rock Band 2 for 2 - 3 months is just silly for example, since now GH4 will reap the PS3 sales benefits.
I think GTA was overscored. I think MGS4 was overscored. I think Halo 3 was IMMENSELY overscored.
I LOVE MGS, my favorite series ever, but even I realize that its an acquired taste that not everyone will love or "get."
What really amazes me is the free pass the Halo series always gets. THe online is solid as hell, but the core gameplay bores/bothers the crap out of me and the single player is the antithesis of epic. Can someone PLEASE enlighten me? Because...
I personally think we should do away with review scores entirely. Scores, not reviews. People use some arbitrary number and rating system, one that varies greatly from not only publication to publication, but even person to person, to judge THEIR purchases for them. Reviews are OPINIONS, they are NOT based on some sort of quantitative measurement system. Thus, the only score that SHOULD matter is your own. Hell, if I listened to reviewers and marketing hype, I would have missed titles like Py...
