On PS3 it's worth it because you get Portal 2 on 3 platforms bundled together.
Buy it on PS3 also get it on PC/Mac.
$60 looks to be pretty cheap for 3 games bundled together.
$20 a piece.
That's not a bad deal.
Now if you got it on Xbox 360 or PC only.
I don't know maybe it's not worth the full value for a single player only game.
However if you get it bundled together on PS3 it doesn't seem like such a bad deal.

As a PS3 fan I'm pissed off it took Sony this long to get back to their consumers about the PSN being breached.
There's no excuse for what Sony did keeping PSN users in the dark this long.

I've been playing online games for years way before consoles on PC.
People just like playing with their friends.

Perhaps these issues are only in Europe and not the U.S.

PC started gaming and it'll die with that platform.
If anything I think Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft will make services much similar to Steam and release it on PC/Mac to extend those audiences.
I hope it does goes in that direction that way I'm able to invest into my PC hardware and buying more games obviously.
Steam has been on the growth for years not just now but for a long time now.
If you buy Portal 2 on PS3 you also get CD Keys for the PC/Mac versions too.

That's because the hack that was made wasn't intended to steal people's credit card info.
The Red Bug Mod allowed hackers to make fake credit card info on PS3 to buy content illegally without really paying for it through PSN Store.
Sony probably thought that if hackers were smart enough to create fake credit info that they might be smart enough to steal credit card info and thus the alert was made.
