My play style is kinda similar to yours only I called it Military Tactics.
In Military Tactics I run to cover, aim with precision, play to the corners of the maps and take out as many enemies as possible.
Close range I either frag or wound the enemies enough so I can do a one hit punch kill.
UC3 is definitely gonna have a lot more customization/content then what UC2 offered...
It wouldn't surprise me if people are dumb enough to keep buying then abuse it.
Which is exactly what Activision/Microsoft/Apple and any other Corporate 500 company are doing right now.

Naughty Dog still has almost 4 months of polishing and optimizing to do before Uncharted 3 comes out.
Tomb Raider should be an excellent game too.
Either way who cares as long as games keep improving the way they are now it'll rival and even surpass the quality of movies.

It's a tough call between Sony/Nintendo.
I'm gonna say Nintendo won for me because their new console Wii U is just an amazing piece of technology.
Controller is like a more advanced DS with 2 analog sticks something the 3DS doesn't have which sucks big time.
HD Visuals on Wii U are really impressive.
(I don't know whether their better or on par with PS3/Xbox 360 I couldn't tell by the Zelda Screens.)

Insomniac does have more then one internal studio working on games.
Main Studio in North Carolina that makes Playstation exclusive games.
You have the Burbank Studios developer in Burbank, CA that make multiplatform games which is where this EA IP is coming from.
Then you have another smaller studio that makes smaller games for mobile games with Insomniac Click which Insomniac announced a while ago.
