The next generation is literally around the corner within the next 2-3 years and instead of lowering the costs of the current systems all of them want to raise costs.

I really enjoy the PS5 Pro.
The visuals and performance make the upgrade worth it.
I gave my sister my OG PS5 for her apartment and that gave me an extra motivation to buy the PS5 Pro.
I don't regret it.
Though if you want to run it properly (max stats) you need a 4K@120hz HDTV which can be pricey.
It really depends on the person.
Me I like having the latest and greatest technology.
I got the deep pockets for it so I buy it.

I miss the Uncharted 2 & 3 days.

Selling a $700 console in a bad economy isn't the smartest idea in the world.
I can't justify the PS5 Pro for a few reasons.
1.) You'll only be playing the Pro for maybe an extra 2-3 years before the PS6 releases.
(Might as well wait and save up for the PS6.)
2.) There's not going to be many games that take advantage of the new specs outside of 1st party titles.

The problem with the Xbox Series S is that when M$ makes a game it has to run on both Series S/Series X.
Series X will never be truly utilized well on visuals and performance because games are now held back by the Series S.
Multiplatform games aren’t going to be fully utilized either.
M$ nerfed the Series X by creating the Series S.
All of that raw power for nothing.
Just wasted potential which is sad.

Recoil is all over the place, hit detection is awful, laggy servers, movement speed is slow, etc.

Games are a lot longer then they used to be and more expensive too so I gotta be more selective with my purchases.
Not to mention there's so many deals (24/7) that if you wait long enough you can buy those same games for cheaper.
